Well went from 8th to 2nd, 1st started 7th. I got a CRB and 1st was the only other player without a pen. Good ish race, normal barging at first chicane, then got punted at 2nd pushing me into 5th (I need to thank these people). 2 more got pens and 2nd lost it on Lesmo 2. So pitted and just had to stay clean among the bit of traffic for an easy 2nd. After pitting 1st was 7 secs in front so had no chance without him binning it and although I took it down to 4 he didn't make a mistake so well done to him. A good place to call it a night.

Had two great races, then the curse of "One more race before bed" stroke...
The first two I had some great battles with two clean British drivers, crashtestdope and another named something like K1sser. Great racing, clean respectful but hard. If you guys are one here: I'll race with you anytime!
Then the last race.
A French guy with his name on the rear end and Fanatec banners all over his car is In front of me in Ascari, I bide my time and follow him all the way to Parabolica where he clings to the pit wall all the way to T1.
So I follow him through the first chicane and get a better run out. Ergo he tries to squeeze me onto the grass at the beginning of Curva Grande. I' m not having it and has inside to Retifilio, gets ahead and he slip streams me down the rear to Ascari. When I drive to Apex he dives up and knocks me out of balance and passed me on the straight to Parabolica while I fishtailed.
He come across the finish line maybe one and a half car length ahead of me.
I don't care that he got ahead and I don't care about the DR. But the SR...

And on a different note, the wheel of fortune gave me a Gr 3 McLaren for the third day....
I must have made the right choice.

I do have cones on but usually just as sort of a safety net. I usually have markers that dont move so I dont worry about it, but for Lesmo 1 I just couldn't find one for the life of me. All the other parts of the track I know well. My favorite is when the markers are gone at Big Willow though. Good luck finding a marker there.
There’s a silver pole on the inside fence at Lesmo 1. You have to brake a bit before you get to it, but it’s just about the only non-moveable marker I can use for that corner.

Big Willow is all about what you can (or can’t) see off-track (sometimes waaay off track). I hate that place when the markers are gone. The stress of trying to remember to look for the shed on the last turn whilst watching some guy trying to throw it up the inside is unbearable.

Just had a good clean race C, Q16 finished 4th. Should have finished 5th, but the idiot wanted to play dirty, tried to push me off coming into 1st chicane so I barged through him to take the position (I would have had to concede as he had the inside had he played fair) faked him out at 2nd, think he cut the corner for a pen because of this and he dropped to 7th. See playing fair is better sometimes.

I don't really get emotional or anything at the daily races, but this one pissed me off.
I qualified 2nd, and this dude qualified 1st. His Q time was a full second faster than mine, but I got the best of him on the first lap.
Here, at the end, the penalty system does it's usual crazy 🤬. I know I out-drove him on that final turn. I was a little bit upset. :grumpy:

Nice crossover!
I dunno what it is. After racing in A once earlier this week and going from S to D I haven’t been able to get the gumption to race...

Race A
Dragon Trail - Gardens
5 Laps 16 Players Car(s): GR3 | Car from Garage BoP: On Settings: Fixed Tire: Racing: Medium DR Limit: None
Race B
Red Bull Ring
13 Laps 20 Players Car(s): GR2 | Car from Garage BoP: On Settings: Fixed Tire: Racing: Medium DR Limit: None
Race C
Sardegna - Road Track - C
6 Laps 12 Players Car(s): N200 | Specially Provided Car BoP: None Settings: Adjustable Tire: Sports: Medium DR Limit: None

Think it should be B, C then A.
So A might be fun, B sounds good and I still hate RBR. Might just practice for FIA

Yeah, they're definitely mixed up, unless they're suddenly changing what type of race each slot is supposed to be.

Sardegna should definitely be Race A, DTG Race B and RBR Race C.

Well the penalty system seemed to work ok for me in this one.. i did 4 laps on hards then switched to mediums, while P1 was 6 medium and 4 hard. I closed in with 2 laps to go, he got a penalty in Ascari, so to avoid any risks I just stayed back til he served it. Then at the 2:55 mark things got messy! I was braking a bit earlier due to my tyres failing, but I feel he wanted to just punt me off regardless.

While I was uploading, I found this old one from Willow Springs a few months ago - a very lucky win!

I was hoping for the tyre and fuel option in race B to add a bit to it, been a while since had to watch fuel, mediums are too easy without having to run hard tyres too. I run the Honda a lot for something different as everyone seems to run the same car and on hard tyres you need to be straight before you floor it whereas on medium tyres it is a bit easier. Dragon Trail garden can get messy but last time I was stuck in the honda (FIA race) and had no choice.

How about unghost a car when it’s up to speed and not when it’s considered back on track? No ? Fine

,

Time to recover the lost SR
the atenza got nothing for that but apparently when i touch anyone i want to murder them ,
, reset to A just a week before exhibition, Perfect , at-least now i don't have to worry about contact with drivers with less DR than me:D

I had a good week the last time DTG Gr.3 was on the menu. This should be a promising week, especially since the odds of Turn 1 shenanigans at DTG are slim with a rolling start.

Yes and the F-Type, that can pretty much match the Vette and Vantage at Monza and seems turns slightly better, well to me anyway.

Beetle, Supra , Wrx i think
These two replies contradict each other a bit here... a batch of power cars or a batch of handling cars... ??

I had thought Dragon Trails would be a more power-oriented circuit with the long straights.

RCZ, R8, RSR are handy around DTG. T1, first esses, the final esses and The Four Brothers(TFB) suit the handling cars. I'd throw in the Atenza, WRX and Evo. I've not seen many Beetles used at DTG as I've seen at say, Miyabi.

In the FIA DTG II, I won with the RX-V. It also handles TFB with ease.

With this new BOP, we'll see what happens. I'll be in the RC F.

That makes sense. I might jump in the RSR and the get some more miles in the RX V...

I've realised I was thinking of Seaside not Gardens... Gardens is definitely more of a handling track now I think about it.

In my Monza races a number of handing cars are about 0.5-0.8 seconds a lap slower than the Vette, Vantage and F-Type and should move a lot closer (maybe past them) here but it depends by how much. Whilst they are power cars these three cars do not handle badly and even if one or more of the handling cars is faster for qualifying, using one of these to race could still be the way to go as they'll be harder to overtake. If the handling cars are the best (and they could be) then the Supra or RC F 17 has more speed than some of the others so may be the preferred options. The RSR of course is usable almost everywhere. :)

The F-Type and RX-V are my two new favourites, and the RSR is a long-time favourite, so I'll be happy with this race I think!

How would the RS.01 or 650S stack up here? Still too slow to compete??
