No stopped again. This time, two leaders not stopped and one stopped.

I started 15th. Dropped to last behind Dragline and some dude in a Vantage.
Dragline was trying to give room to the Vantage as it went off a few times. I left it pass and when its passing Dragline at one of those dippy corners, they barely touch and the other cars goes off. Vantage should have waited for more of a straight.
N xt, I'm just following and late in the lap, a Veyron goes off. I slow down as Dragline passes. The Veyron hits Dragline, at the corner before the straight. Seriously. It gets .5s for the shunt.

When cars pitted, I jumped to 5th. Got a .5s for a bit wide at T8 or 9. Was 5seconds ahead of a TT, for the whole lap until having to do fuel 6, with .2 left in the tank.
My lead dwindled and I finished 2 seconds behind the TT.

It's a good race. Just have to be patient. If someone passes, they ain't going to make the fuel.

What fuel settings did you have to run for the 1st part before dropping to setting 6? :)
Also which car were you using?

fuel saving is not something I enjoy. so even though the Nord is one of my absolute favourite places to race, I might not be doing that many. gonna keep reading the reports and we will see...

here are the replays I was gonna share yesterday, but I fell asleep. nothing really special about any of these races, there not wins or evidence of terrible behaviour. I rarely remember to save races so these are just the four I happened to remember to save, but they are good examples of what I want out of this game, which is good clean competition.

"tv" replay followed by my pov (hood cam)

I know there are a lot of you that are faster and better drivers than I am, so all comments on the above vids are welcomed

I'm in the Genesis. It's got excellent stability(even though I went off twice, trying to pass a conserving Viper). Played with 5, 4, 3, in this race I just finished. 14th to 6th.

Held about 2.2 laps of fuel the whole lap and 1.9 when entering the long straight. Set it to 2 for most of the lap and set to 1 during the last third of the lap. Set to 1 before the long straight.

The Cayman won again with no stop. If you're 12 seconds behind the leader, that's the cut off if they are going to pit. Players up the front, are still pitting. Make way for the ones that want to pass.

It's not too bad. There are penalties happening, but it's Monday jitters.
Once people catch on to non-stop, it might start getting ugly. I mean desperate ugly. Not I'm in a faster car ugly. ;)

Going in on Race A. Missed qualy.
Edit: 10/12 to 2/12. Almost had the win, butas I'm passing P3 on the last bank, dude decides to move from the bottom apronto the top where me and the leader are and side contact me. Just as I'm about to pass the leader!
That P3 was a red&white horizontal stripe flag and the leader was an Aussie flag. So, I don't know what the reason for that movement was. P3 was hugging the bottom out of sight.
Anyway, couple of cars "entangled' and fell to the bottom halfway through the race. One spun halfway before the tunnel.

Race B next. I'll be in a Genesis.

Edit2: As @MidnightRun85 suggested, maybe Fuel 2 might work.

Yeah, not sure what happened with the Vantage. I was trying out the no stop and thought I was giving plenty of room. He spent the whole race going flat out for 5 or 6 turns then binning it. Rinse and repeat.

The Veyron... what a fool. He had followed all the way down the straight and knew he was faster then me in a straight line. Why even attempt to lunge at the start of those esses? Then, to rub it in, he just quit. Ruined my race.

I followed up running in the Slophy because it has great fuel economy. Big mistake. It’s sooo slow I ended up pushing too hard and binned it several times. It will no stop on FM3 with some short shifting and some wriggle room for a final run on FM1.

I am so bad at N24. I keep getting lost and forgetting some corners. The cones don’t help because the worst ones don’t have any brake marker cones. I’m not sure I have the patience for this race all week.

Yeah, I'm done. Race B in the Genesis. I hit the COD three times. Never in my years of playing this game. Just couldn't get the front fenders placed with the Genesis.

Time for some ACC and GTAV. I'll boot the game back up for Mileage Exchange.

Lol, quick quali and jumped in the pug for Race B, started P11 and up to P7 on lap 3 when I hit the COD… haven’t done that in a while during a race!

Next 2 races, P7 to P4 and P7 to P3… I like DTS.

I might try the ring of death next, any tips other than bump like hell?

There are 2 strategies for race C. 0 stopping on hards with fuel saving is around 15-20s quicker but you can also 1 stop by starting on mediums and running the first lap flat out, this is a terrible idea and mostly chosen by slow people who struggle to stay on the road. They will spend 10 minutes driving into people then disappear. It's actually not a bad race.

Race A is pretty dull, the slipstream runs are not strong enough to complete moves until the lead group breaks up so qualifying is actually important.

Earlier today, I had two additional victories at this week's Daily Race A. I had used the Volkswagen Scirocco Gr. 4 and Audi TT Cup in these respective races.
I don't get why you keep posting these videos up. The first one contains yet another blatant punt, though not as awful as the one you did earlier in the week.

Are you proud of taking wins by just biffing people out of the way and think you're going to get praise from other people?

We could all win 130 races if we drove like that!!

Some people only care about winning, at any cost. I could have easily got at least one win of the four races i shared earlier, if i had no self respect and didn't care about the people i share the track with.

And although i dont like to share numbers..... 42k dr 99sr, 320+ wins in 2100 or so races. All done with dignity and respect for my competition

Slightly lower DR, and less wins across my accounts. But I absolutely agree. I'd rather finish second fairly, than winning a race by taking out the leader.

Unfortunately there are many drivers in the game who deem the win ratio as the only relevant stat.

Viper is competitive with fuel saving at N24. It seems you can make either the no stop or 1 stop work. I’m no stopping but the last race was won easily by a one stopper.
Good, that was going to be my weapon of choice :)
I remember it was one of the OP cars the last time there was a 24hr 'Ring daily in the GR4's in the dark.
I'll look forward to giving it a try tonight...

The race on SSRX is with the 2006 Ford GT again...
I'm rather disappointed about that. Sure I'm glad SSRX is back for another week of hectic races, but it's the exact same combination from the last time SSRX was featured in a Daily Race, no change in cars even. It feels as if PoDi is writing Daily Race combinations on slips of paper, putting them all into a hat, shuffling them, then drawing three at a time to decide on the Daily Races for the week, but instead of discarding them once they've been chosen, they put them back in the hat so they have a chance to be drawn again. Between Gr.2 cars at Fuji, Gr.3 at Seaside and Laguna Seca, surely they're logging what combinations have already been chosen for the last few months, right?

N24! Let's gooo

One of the reasons could also be the in-game achievements and of course, trophies.

Desperation makes people do stupid things...

I'm happy with my 25 wins and I was a very casual player, sometimes not on the game for weeks before lockdown, my SR was all over the place mainly because I didn't really understand how it worked or the problems when you quite with a penalty. I have never taken a win where I punted someone off the track deliberately or even by accident, even last night I was feeling bad when a guy who ran me off the track 3 times cut back across me at the Corkscrew and spun himself leaving me to take 12th, his aggression caught him out in the end.

I quite enjoy the trophy collecting side of the Playstation, and am on a couple of forums to that end. I draw the line at ruining other people's online experience though, and promised myself that I wouldn't even reset my DR by quitting for easy wins in GTS.
This exchange will make your blood boil (Fair warning in deference to our AUP, there is colorful language used by me).

Last week in race B I began in the Mustang.
I managed 50-50 clean racing to experiencing some dirt.
I had one terrible race ruined by an awful divebomb when I had achieved peak form in the Mustang.
I dunno why but I was unable to ever get close to the pace I had that evening...
Soooo, I switched to the Megane.
I experienced, over the course of the weekend 80 percent absolutely epic clean fun battling. The other twenty percent was some of the worst behavior I’ve ever seen, definitely including myself. I had one very very interesting race in which I was I think third on the grid.
Going up Mountain Straight lap one there was a Gulf liveried TT approaching.
What was strange is the TT was sixth on the grid!
I’m thinking what the heck are those guys doing back there? Punting?
Anyways this player is gaining on me over laps 1-2, and end of 2 I have to defend at the Chase...Then he is right on my tail into the next left hander. He divebombs my inside, I saw it coming, crossover the grass and put him to the wall.
On replay at the race start, his car was overtaken by about 3-4 cars into t1, then he teleported into 4th!
Also blue flags everywhere for us leaders!
I’m not sure what happened but I’ve never seen that before and shared the replay.
Has anyone seen this?
Re this week I’m sure I will join B, and A.
I dunno about C. I don’t want to Q for it, but on NA often the back of the pack can be a nightmare...

The game will be a better place when people like that 🤬 off and onto games more their intellectual level like peekaboo.

Great give us 2 laps of N24, but make it so a pit stop is needed. What a stupid idea, dropping the fuel to X6 or X5 would still need to fuel save, but in a way that didn't negate the strategy. Or is there a car that can actually run the race without fuel?

A lot of people won’t fight in races online.
A lot will. I am in the latter group. In particular on my alt account I have an extremely low tolerance for arcade maneuvers. As a result I’ve had several resets and my SR frequently lowers.
When this happens the next few races are like being tortured. Fear of getting blasted off early, then driving alone at the front, OR having been blasted off, having to drive around people whose cars might shoot off in any direction at any moment regardless of where the track or other cars on it are positioned.
These torture races, give a lot of 1st place results but these results are the furthest thing from winning there is.
The more wins a player has the dirtier they are because it means they aren’t racing their peers.
On main I have few wins.
Truly, if you play fair, any top ten is a great finish.
Personally when building main I could only do 1-2 races every day or two. I only wanted to gain points, which basically is down to finishing ahead of more drivers at your rank than finish ahead of you.
Higher ranked racers are fairly irrelevant.
Now then....
On certain track combos in game I am way up there speed wise. In dailies at these combos it’s often all alts from who knows what players, and tbh it can get very ugly sometimes depending on who you are racing.
These are guys who run FIA on main only.
Sure sometimes there’s high ranked guys on main, but it’s fairly rare.
It can go arcade. Often you might end up getting on the short end of a stupid move by an entitled player.
Often they will shove others purposely, why I don’t know.
I can only assume they figure no one can catch them and they are really stuck on earning points at any cost.
Now, if racing them, if you don’t respond, it will keep happening.
You can’t just pull over for their stupidity.
My rule in these lobbies is once they go arcade, they will be very surprised just how far arcade others might go, even players capable of fast proper racing...Mutually Assured Destruction is a very effective deterrent
It is what it is

Edit race B will be great fun, in these lobbies...

No need to qualify for this week's A race.
Although, I did 1 lap this morning for fun on my main account, and got #4. :D
I damn sure won't be entering the race with that account, though.

<...snip...>

I did "opposite" strategy. Blast the throttle and wreck the tires. Started 3rd and finished 3rd and that was with two self inflicted wounds on the first lap.

I confess I didn't know better and was somewhat confused when others did not pit.

Now that I understand. It will be more fun using the other drivers as moving pylons. I meant that it the most respectful way possible. I don't often get to make passes.
