Damage / what about repairs ?

Every thread that discusses implementation of features that Gran Turismo has yet to feature just makes me realize that the people over at Turn10 who make Forza Motorsport are geniuses. They've already implemented a LOT of this stuff and done it properly. When Forza 3 comes out (be it 2009 or 2010) it will be so many light years ahead of Gran Turismo 5 that it won't be funny.

Do it like Forza 2... reduce race earnings for the amount of repairs to your car.

In real life if you have a crash with another driver, then you/your team pay for the repairs, not the other driver/team.

So it makes sense to keep it like that in the game.

In an online race, you shouldn't have to pay for any damage UNLESS you quit the race, then you should have to pay. Hopefully this stops the quitters.
