Although i was kicked for inactivity a while back, and although I'm not sure if the club will even end or not, I just want to say that I had the greatest GT5 times of my life in your rooms DBeav. Good job. I hope we can get something together like this for GT6, and by that time I'll be able to play more too.

I've watched that video before. I'm not taking apart my whole PS3. I'll just sell it to my friend for $50.



I've tried this. It won't go into safe mode. It just goes "Beep, Beep Beep, and then Beeps once more and turns off. That's the only thing it does.

I'm afraid that might be early symptoms of YLOD, my previous slim PS3 had this too, 3 quick beeps and shut off when it got worse just before YLOD occur. Best bet is to open it, clean the whole thing, reapply thermal paste both under the metal plate on both CPU and GPU as well between them and heat sink.

But it could be HDD error, replace with another HDD, see if the symptom persist.

I thought it would turn on. I had to buy a HDMI wire. my old RED, WHITE, YELLOW, wires broke. Or maybe Sony planned for all PS3's to break when PS4 comes out. No that sounds insane.

I was planning on telling you guys this morning, but I had to go to church and run some errands. I just put my PS3 back together. I cleaned it and took it apart. I still have to skype a couple people. It's a first gen 60gb. It's the fat one in other words.

I just think almost everybody is bored of GT5, to the point that this club is the only thing that keeps them from just abandoning the game altogether. Maybe it will get fired up again for GT6, but for now, I think the club is on its last legs. Theres a lot of arguing and almost no original members. Its gotten to the point where if Beav isn't in a room, its not really a good, cooperative, fun room. Thats just my opinion.

I'm surprised your fat 60 GB PS3 even lasted this long and so close to the new PS4 AND GT6. I had a fat 60GB and that died on me 1 or 2 years ago. 60GB and 40GB are the ones with the YLOD issues and a majority have had the YLOD so DBeav, get another PS3. It was a eventuality that was going to happen sooner or later.

Yep. I was playing GT5 when all of sudden it froze and after turning it off then back on, I got a yellow light with a flashing red light. It wasn't the first time it happened when the PS3 froze though.

Have you not noticed the arguing and the fact that if Beav leaves a lobby the lobby just goes to s**t most of the time? Excuse my language, but its true. I do think this club is fading, in GT5 anyway. Beav has done a great job leading this club. But, GT6 will be a fresh start, hopefully. This is my honest opinion and Im sure at least one person will agree with me.

Really is boils down to this Those who argue in a room need to be told to move it in a PM. And guys who argue in lobbies are just trying to show WHOS RIGHT and Tough and dominate, and I can't say my self I have never argued in a lobby but im pretty sure all of us have argued in a lobby.
