Anyone have an extra or two BMW M Coupe '98 that they aren't using and would like to send me? I'm tired of refreshing my UCD and not getting it. I would prefer it to be stock, mileage and color doesn't matter...

Man I just have no luck when it comes to electronics. I had some time tonight to start fiddling with the Roxio Game Capture HD, found some component cables for the PS3, plugged it in according to the instructions and expected it to pop up on the screen as something plugged into the USB. Nothing. Go to the net and find setup videos and find out I'm missing the software CD which isn't mentioned specifically on the box!!!!

Back to the store this week, only one was on the shelf 2 weeks ago, we'll see if there are any left!!!!

Took a crack at the 460PP TT tonight and got to position #125 and thought this tune might also do well at the Nurb so I gave it a few laps and whaddayaknow:idea: Should be suitable for any kind of track although it's not set up for a standing start so the transmission might have to be adjusted for that. This is the version of the tune I posted on the [post=7419023]Nurburgring Nordschleife PP Board - Car/Tune Submissions[/post]

I don't think I can make it tomorrow. Gonna get a haircut and its going to severely cut into the race schedule.

This is the weakest excuse I've ever heard in my life.... 👎

RX-7 Tune

Good timing on this! I just bought this car last night along with the RX-8... Now I'll have something to go by if I can't get it to my liking on my own. 👍

Yeah, this was probably the best of the ones you tried

My entry for Monday :D

You settled on this one, then? Took you long enough, lol.

A salon that's open after 8?

Come on guy's, Ferrari is having a bad hair day.

:lol::lol::lol:

Ferrari, it is just that having a race without you, is like for the French having a meal without baguette.

It'll be a close call if I make it or not. I might be able to get home and only miss the two practices. Hope they can hurry.

Keep in mind the tune is very aggressive, set up for the TT and just happens to work for Nurb as well. If you find it rotating too much just move the ballast forward. But it does have a ton of grip:)

What would you prefer for me to race ? There are many good cars in my garage, Cizeta, Countach, Fairladys, Yellow Bird, Acura NSX, BMW Z4, Mach 1, Camaro SS'69 ... I like to drive some of them, one car per race  So Countach, then Cizeta, then Yellow Bird :)

The 370GT is going to struggle to keep up in acceleration above 60 mph against SP1, but I am sure I can still put up close battles just like the race we had :D

I don't mind which you use for this race, lol. Was just saying you were trying so many, and settled for the lesser of the 5 evils - Yellow Bird, V16T, Z4 and Mach 1. But I guess they're not so evil if you tune them right.

Some cars are just evil and can't be tuned to be tame:sly:

As always we should look for cars we are confident in when running in traffic. If you can tune the Cizeta or Yellowbird so you can run in traffic, side by side, then by all means use them. Just remember that running alone and doing hotlaps is not the same as running in traffic or under pressure. In some cases it pays to have a back up ride ready to go...lol..

To my surprise the easiest car to handle is the Mach 1, comparable to the Z33,Z34 and Countach. Cizeta is quite good actually, stable and have a good brakes.

I used the Cizeta and Yellow Bird during the track days and races, not a problem for me to stay bumper to bumper with other cars :D

When we have track day, Cote' Sp1 and FerrariDude's 512BB together, I was driving a Cizeta I think, can't remember with so many variety of cars driven on track

It's a secret..but I'm sure someone will figure it out...:sly:

A logical answer would be that it is you, but it is tough to say from looking at your avatar. LOL

Everyone remembers the issues we had last Monday, adding the issues some of us faced during the week end, I would like to propose that, even if I enjoy using one, we set the room with MIC off for this evening, hoping it will help having every one enjoy their racing evening without having to deal with lag and DC.
On the other hand, it would be great if you know you are prone to issues to do all the voodoo stuff ( clear cache, etc.... ) so we put all chances to have a great succes tonight.

Yeah, I shall try clearing cache. See if that helps.

Did anyone notice the driver of the RX-7 above?:sly:

Not much of a secret if you know the TV programme he presents . . .

The guy is driving the wrong car  He should be driving something British, Italian or Germany with lots of smokes behind, haha.

And he's driving on the wrong side of the car, even for a Japanese model... You know how much Clarkson hates when the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.
