I was thinking Monza was more of a special event. I would suggest moving to a double header at a new track, new target time.

Well NC, if you want, you can decide on next track tyres and target, would be good to have something to annonce by Monday.

I can probably come up with something by then if JP doesn't already have something in the works.

That I don't know, I am sure he has some idea. But if you have a combo in mind, we will try it sooner or later.

Please make it NSX-compatible please!

Funny that you prefer to drive always the same car when your take part in a league that allows to use any car you want. I guess that also include wanting always the same car.
You are contagious, now NC wants to drive his BRZ again :sly:

I'm thinking of it as consistency, which to me is the key to winning in this group. The more I drive it, the more consistent I am in groups with it. Although an NSX probably isn't the most consistent/easy to drive consistently car out there. Other than that, I think I just like the way it looks in replays.

I agree, winning in this group without consistency does not happen, but since we can decide to drive whatever we want, consistency is not so hard to do.
Main advantage of consistency to me is more predictible behavior which lead to better racing as a group.

Change of car for Monday at Monza.

Is every one ready for Monday at Monza?
NC and Track were right, did some testing this afternoon and it almost unavoidable to be over the pace as soon as you are catching some one because of the draft, there is a good side to it, the good news is, it is impossible de go away and gain ground if you are leading, so close racing garanteed once again, life is great.

I was just going to go into the lounge myself, I was thinking I could probably knock off a few PP while I'm there.

Edit: Now I'm running at 520PP.

hey sorry I didn't say anything earlier I won't be able to make it tomorrow.

No problem then, it is not tomorrow, it is Monday. Only kidding, hope to see you back next week.

PP may come down yet as I have only done one practice session and I often improve in subsequent sessions. I'm running a max weight, max power sort of setup, as usual, though I don't feel I should be one of the faster guys on the straight this week. This car is too well balanced to struggle in the corners.

This evening looks promising, there is going to be probably 2 new participant, GTP_Orido and PearlJam 183, I am planning on beeing at a the lounge around 19h30 for some last practice before the race at 8h00.

Don't think I ever officially registered for tonight...

Welcome to Orido and PearlJam. Reminder though, you should have your cars sorted out before you get to the Lounge tonight. We only use the first two tune up sprints for really fine tuning, not to sort out your car for the mains. You should be 99.5% certain you're at the right PP range before you arrive. If you need any help or pointers just post your questions here.

I might get in a bit early and try to run a few consecutive laps in the California. I shaved 3PP off last time I ran but not sure there's anymore to be had. The car handles really which isn't much of an advantage in the slower chicanes but struggles on the straights...my kind of car...lol..

On another note, after doing a bit of asking around among my real life friends, I discovered Windows Movie Maker. Over the weekend I happened to have a GT5 video recorded to my phone and I was amazed what I could do with it in Movie Maker in just a half hour So I'll be putting together a little movie for us in the next few days. At this point, I'm going to try and capture the video on my phone, which I can do at 720p, but we'll see how it looks after it's uploaded to youtube and back down to here. I also have access to a 1080p camera if needed or I might add a capture card to download it directly. I don't know anything about that kind of stuff but I can ask the guy I got my custom computer from he seems to know what he's doing...lol.

I'll probably jump in a little earlier than usual to get some draft practice before race time...

...I might add a capture card to download it directly.
What a coincidence. I was just looking at those over the weekend.

Anyways, I'll probably show up early too. I don't have anything more important, and to be honest, I can't get enough of my 458 around here.

Hopefully another great session of races tonight, maybe I'll be able to snag a great new photo for the banner. 💡

Nice pics Ferrari..you have an eye I don't have...lol. Not our closest racing ever but still some very close battles tonight.
1st race had a 3 way battle for 2nd place separated by less than 0.500 seconds. Second race was decided by 0.100.
In race 3 the top 3 were covered by 0.242 seconds. I think we were done in partly by a little lag and partly by the first chicane. I'll have some thoughts on that later...

Thanks to everyone that turned up and especially Orido, the new guy..congrats on the first win!!

Excellent pics Ferrari! You definitely have a great eye for photo mode. I'm not partial to the white car in the pics or anything... :sly:

The two spec races we did with the BRZ/FRS/86GT were definitely more on point with our typical effort in this group... I ended up having great battles with JP in both races, and everyone seemed much cleaner overall. 👍

I had some great times racing with you guys, I am really sorry if I made any mistakes during the race or causing lag :( I won't be host next time, see if it helps and I am really looking forward for more races.

I'll most likely be in some type of Subaru, but it will probably be an Impreza... Gonna need a little more grunt for the long straight at Suzuka East.

Excellent phots, Ferrari! :)

Good racing tonight, shame I was rubbish. Hopefully I'll be on the ball next week and be able to get in on the action more often.

I have a great tune for the Zonda Sag, you can have it if you want. It's an absolute beast at 550PP.

Keep posting your pics Ferrari, they are very well done:tup:👍

Nice pictures FerrariDude308 :), by the way JP, I have posted my car tune info for the Monza race several posts above.
