Oh my god ,

Love that FVS II b-box. Guess that would add a nice estra to my rig,
Can't have enough buttons I found out. Still have to figure out how to assign them rotary controllers on the velocity.
How can I pre-order that FVS II? Seem to have trouble finding it on the website? The Bend rod shifter has to wait a little longer then...

Bryan

I should have the link up by the end of the weekend for the FVS II - the first run will be early production units offered at a discount.

Binding/Mapping/Designating a function to an encoder is no different than doing the same with a push button or toggle. You select the function in your sim of choice and then actuate the encoder in the direction to which you want that function to be mapped.

FVS II Update:

Hi folks - this is for those who are interested in the new FVS II Sim Racing Controller. I am working in a small batch with this most current production run of boxes and Velocities, all of which to ship no later than the 28th. I'll have an assortment of colors and will take orders for the FVS II's once they're ready to ship. I'd prefer to do it that way to keep it organized.

Thank you!

Hi Derek, i love what you're doing, seems really good and well built hardware. I'm planning to replace my G27 shifter with a TH8RS, so i'll probably buy one of your button boxes ; i have to ask you though, do you plan to build one with an integrated D-pad and maybe the four buttons like the G25/27 ? It's useful to navigate in the menus.

Thanks !

Thank you for your interest - everything I manufacture is on my site. I have no plans to offer a device with a 4way switch.

Looks great :) Couple of questions, is that knob rubberized? Replaceable? Internally is it the same as its bigger brothers? Tension and such..

Hi guys, I'm hoping someone can help me with a bit of advice, I have one or Derek's awesome 32 button load cell boards that I used in my button box. At the moment I'm not using then analogue pats or the board, But that's about to change!
I plan on connecting my G27 pedals upto the inputs of the DSD board (until I can finnish my CST pedals)

1st question - the little "cap" that is over two of the pins, is this just a bridge that is removed when its used?

2nd - is there a plug that will go over these pins? (Soldering to these things is hard lol)

3rd - has anyone hooked up an AP Electrix load cell pedal upto a dsd board

Thanks in advance for all replys

Cheers

These questions can be answered with the information on my site here:

http://www.derekspearedesigns.com/circuits

Q1 - Those are shunts - they are specifically addressed on my site. The details of them are there;

Q2 - question is unclear, refer to the technical information on my site;

Q3 - yes.

None of my boards for consumer use require soldering.

What is the approx size and is there any mounting provisions? I'll be looking at making some room on my rig tomorrow and would like to pre-plan the necessary real estate :)

DSD. Race on!

Doh, lol thanks Derek, I did have a look on your site for that into, it must have been a "man look" as my wife would say. Lol

You answered then second question on your site, the name I was looking for was 3 pin jumper. I know what to look for now :-)
When I Got my board, you didn't have that info so I soldered the wires for my button matrix to the board. That was fun let me tell you!

In regard to there ap pedal, can you disconnect his board and use your lc amp or just wire the existing one to your analogue input?

Once again, thank you for the quick reply :)

I can't answer questions about components I don't make - your other components are outside of what I support.

The extent of the technical information for my circuits is on my site. The information I publish there is thorough, extensive and will answer any question one would have about the components.

Here are a few Special Edition devices made recently:

Hi all - here's a schematic of the Logitech G25/27 pedals for the reason that some may want to connect their pedals to one of my boards. Keep in mind that I offer my DSD Pedal Pal for this exact reason, and for 16 bucks, it's a "Sanity Saver".

Keep in mind that this information is for one to use as they want, and not an official part of my commercial offerings - It's just from one sim racing man to others:) Also keep in mind that this is an electrical schematic and requires one to know the conventions necessary to interpret it.

FS - Immediate Ship:

Ok folks - as promised, here are a few FVS II Sim Racing Controllers from the preliminary run.

These are the first ones, and as such, may have some minor blemishes. I can't see sending them to the bin as they are all very good, but there may be some small scratches, scuffs or other minor warts. I'd not even offer them if I didn't feel confident you will enjoy them like I do. In fact, one of the blue ones was going to go into my personal setup, but I want it to go to a home where it will have more use :)

The pricing I am offering on these is very much discounted and I am shipping them free anywhere as well. To claim yours, send the finds directly via paypal to my paypal email: derek.speare@ymail.com

That said, here they are:

1 - FVS II r12 - yellow/yellow - CLAIMED - TYVM :)

1 - FVS II blk/blue

2 - FVS II blue/blue - CLAIMED - TYVM :)

1 - FVS II blk/red

FVS II r12 - 1 twelve position rotary switch, 3 two way encoders with integrated pushbuttons, 4 pushbuttons, one big lighted pushbutton, 2 two way toggles, 2 on/off toggles - 32 total inputs - It's 115 USD shipped anywhere:

FVS II Standard - these all have 4 two way encoders, that being the difference from the r12 - 19 Total Inputs - these are all 90 USD shipped anywhere.

I will update the thread when each one is claimed. Please make a post here that you are grabbing one. If there are multiple payments for the same one, you will be offered a substitute if another one remains or your money will be refunded. I am fortuanate to have nearly five thousand customers enjoying my components, and thank you for looking!
