It's...missing a spoiler...?

While on the highway, I saw a Dodge Viper SRT-10 convertible in yellow with a single black stripe. Unfortunately, it was going the other way.

It's the new Vectra.

Truly hilarious.

'92-'96 Camry with aftermarket landau roof. Florida "Conserve Wildlife" plates. Speaking of plates, here's one:

North Carolina - Japanese DPP. Probably initials, but I strongly question the issuance of "Japanese" on a license plate. Would they allow Japanese SUX or something similarly intolerant?

EDIT:

I damn near forgot the Bentley collage. No surprise, considering how forgettable the car is...

Next time I'll remind myself to take an even number of photos. Or I'll just toss in a photo of a Passat. No one will know the difference...

I really like the Silver Spirit. It may not be the coolest one ther, but because you havent pictured a million of them, it really is a treat.

That Bentley? You are looking at the Robb Collins Report car of the year for 2005. Apparently it is a great car, but then again, I don't trust that snobby rich man's rag.

That car without a wing? We had something (probably an RX7) like that parked down the street from us for a long time. It was black, other aero accessories and two crazy wing stalks. No doubt designed to look like Batmobile.

What's an E50?
No - no R129 AMG model was sold in the States. An SL60 was also made, supposedly.

The w210 E 50 preceded the w210 E 55 and very few if any, were brought to the states, as far as I know the engine is the same as the E 55 but slightly smaller. There was an article in either Mercedes Enthusiast or Classic Mercedes Benz all about the SL 60, however now I can't find the damn thing:grumpy: I'm not sure how many were made.

Yeah, they're interesting. There's one for sale about a quarter of a mile from here that's been sitting on the dealer's lot since at least August. I'd love to check it out. I don't always photograph all the Spirits I see since they're not the rarest cars in the world, but here's another shot:

That's a Spirit II; the one I photographed Saturday was a (rarer) Spirit I. And a Silver Spirit III, of which less than 200 exist:

I don't feel the interior or exterior is special enough and I'm sure it's too expensive.

I've never seen one and I live pretty rural...

We just get good old tractors, there's even a John Deere in the village!

Same here. I'm from Wiltshire where it's almost obligatory to have one!

I remember seeing quite a few Unimogs as part of roadwork operations.

There used to be a yellow Unimog in Potomac that has since been replaced by a 500E. Only one I've ever seen and I nearly crashed first time I saw it.

...and the delicious Prowler, Douggie.

I saw one certainly rare car today... an E63 AMG Estate; the first AMG estate I've ever seen. Not surprising since they sell about 4 a month.

Definitely a rare car - I'd be surprised if Australia sees over 100 of those.

I would love to see a Sagaris. There is something about that car. I do not really know what it is. But from what I have seen in pictures, I can only imagine on how gorgeous the thing is.

My local Chrysler/Plymouth/Jeep dealership had one on sale for about a year. I probably saw 4 different people taking it out for a test drive over that year, which is pretty often, considering I wasn't specifically going by there to look for it.

I'd take one out for a drive. It's so cool!

They really should have found some kind of small block V8 to put in the thing instead of the V6 they put into it. The engine really does not back up the looks of the car and the point of the car existing. Had Chrysler put a V8 in it, I think it probably would have had more success.

Maybe, though you'll remember that for '99, the 3.5-liter V6 sharply increased its power from 214hp to 253 due to the necessity of a larger engine for use in the then-new 300M. Once that happened it did sub 7-sec 0-60 runs, which is pretty good given the price. That said, used they've experienced a rebirth and you can't find them anywhere for under $25k, though $30k seems to be the more appropriate going rate.
