Oklahoma tags on all of these? I can't imagine there are too many exotics like this in Oklahoma - any Ferraris or Lamborghinis you're aware of?

Does an SV do it for you? :sly:

The blue Bentley I know for sure has Oklahoma tags, though the other two I have yet to see again.

There is also a yellow Gallardo running around that I have seen twice. I also know a guy from church who lives in the same neighborhood or knows the owner or something along those lines (can't remember at the moment). I want to say lives in the same neighborhood though and that particular neighborhood is one of the wealthier in the area. The guy I know owns a 996 Turbo, a 928, and (I want to say, as I do not think it is a 993) 964 Turbo. The 964 Turbo also has a nice addition in the horsepower department, though I do not remember how much more.

There is also possibly a M5 (V10, newest generation), Quattroporte, and a 996 GT3 running around too. I saw the M5 one day on campus near Owen Field. The Quattroporte spotting was after one of the football games this year. The 996 GT3 was also spotted during a football game and it was the 2nd generation of the 996 GT3 because I remember the rear wing on it. I do not remember any of the tags on them though because I was more excited about seeing the cars rather than where they were from. Ditto goes for my SLR spotting on the north side of campus.

And that reminds me, I saw a black M3 on Friday very near the area I saw the STS-V.

Just having said something about the 996 GT3 made me think of the local Porsche dealership on the northside. About one year ago, they had a Carrera GT on display for a while. I do not remember where I heard about it, but I looked it up on their website and sure enough it was listed. Too bad I never went to go see it.

As for Ferrari, it remains elusive of my eyes. It is just about the only manufacturer that I have yet to see. I have seen two of their Formula 1 cars, but no road car. Shell has made it an annual event, at least the last two years, to bring one of the former cars to one of the engineering events in the fall semester. I have pictures of one of the cars on my phone if anyone were interested in seeing them. Also, I have changed one of the tires on both cars. Pretty cool stuff. I have two little key chain models from both years and a picture of myself with the car from one of the years.

Does an SV do it for you?

Where did you see that at?

I've always had a sort of internal conflict with the Diablo.
On the one hand, it doesn't hold a candle to the outrageous lack of respect the Countach possessed.
On the other, it has an heir of power that the Countach didn't seem to have, and its presence is no less extraordinary.

Wow.

At the racing yesterday there were a few nice cars on display in the infield. I helped out the organsiers by inviting some car clubs along, so i managed to get Porsches and the Ferrari Club of NZ to attend as well as a Lamborghini Countach replica and the Skyline club display (which went really badly, last year we had 16 cars, this year i did twice as much advertising and only got about ten cars).

The below cars i had never seen before in real life before yesterday.
- Aston Martin DB7
- Porsche 911 Turbo (996)
- Ferrari Testarossa
- Ferrari 599GTB!
- Ferrari 550 or 575 Barchetta?
Plus a couple of other Ferraris i don't know the name of (old ones).

Pics coming soon, when camera batteries are recharged.

Wasn't a SuperAmerica as there was one of them there too (one guy owns a silver 550 Maranello, red 575 SuperAmerica and as of January this year a 2007 599GTB - and he lives on the other side of town within view of our house). Those three cars are apparently the only ones in the South Island, all in a town of 13,000 people. :D

I was with him and a guy who owns a Lambo replica yesterday and the owner of those cars has been granted an invitation to the official Ferrari test track.

All interesting - especially this. You've never seen a Ferrari on the road?!

Nope, I have yet to see a Ferrari on the road. I am still waiting for my first Ferrari on the road spotting. But I have seen this one (not on the road though). Sorry for the small resolution. I took the pictures not too long after I had gotten the phone I have now and had yet to mess around with the settings on it.

And I just remembered that I have also seen a Aston Martin DB7 Volante on campus also. I only remember it being in a dark blue color, much the same color as the Arnage I have seen on campus. I cannot remember the tags on it either though.

I saw and got to drive a Midas Gold Coupe today, only 1 of 2 in New Zealand and the only roadworthy one. My camera is is playing up at the mo so I'll try to put up some pics tomorrow.

Caught this one yesterday, poor pictures as the phone is new and I had not yet changed the camera settings.

A Smart Brabus Coupe, with a whole 75bhp to let rip with. Quite an uncommon little thing, which is no surprise given its £12,410 price tag (yes that's around $24,000 US).

saw a brand new Ford Galaxy, the 2007 model, didnt even know there was a new model out already.
i was driving on a busy stretch of road so no pics unfortunately, but if i see it again i'll be stopping for it :)

There's loads round here.

And even more S-Max's.

well earlier tonight i saw probably the best sighting of my 2007 so far :D
Its brand new, and its the first one spotted for this thread.
crappy light prevented me from getting decent photos, and i didnt have time to pick up my tripod when i dashed home for my camera!
and ive just realised i would have much better picstures if i realised my camera was only on ISO 100 :banghead:

well here it is. 2007 Jaguar XKR :D

This car got me rather excited, because i love it!
Its got such a presence, i couldnt stop my hands shaking while taking the pictures, i could feel my heart beating just being within its direct vicinty. i want one, i want one so soooo much...
