EB110S. Right here in Atlanta. Those are special Georgia plates.

Told.

EB110 GT. :sly:

Special Texas Plates.

...Got a good one today...

This is Farenheit GTI #174 of 1200, spotted at Betton Imports here in Grand Rapids:

The final sticker price was set just a bit over $28K, and my guess is that they will probably get a bid war to push the price north of $30K. Volkswagen guys like me are crazy...

What's so special about the Fahrenheit GTi? A VW dealer near my house has one, and if it's anything super special I want to check it out.

The snow that's melting around the GTI makes it look the the car's doing it. I just found that funny cause of the name.

uh... doing what? of what relevance to the thread?

on another note that VW looks pretty nice, is it just a special color/options package?

The Fahrenheit models are limited edition versions of the GTI and the GLI, both of which will only be available in 2007. The GTI only comes in the orange, the GLI comes in a rather bright yellow as well. I believe there are going to be 1200 of these models (1200 GTI, 1200 GLI) made available, so any time you see one you're looking at a fairly rare car.

...So whats so special about it?

LLN.com
The Fahrenheit GTI introduces a unique exterior color - Fahrenheit orange - to the sporty hatchback. Each of these 1,200 models will come with a Fahrenheit badge and its unique limited edition number on a three-spoke perforated leather steering wheel, adding to the car's individuality. This special edition offers European sport tuned suspension; 18-inch "Charleston" alloy wheels; "Fahrenheit" badging; heated leather sports seats; a sunroof; orange interior trim; orange stitching on the floor mats, DSG boot, brake handle and steering wheel; and optional Sirius Satellite Radio. This special edition model is $27,665.

Similar to the Fahrenheit GTI, Fahrenheit GLI introduces a splashy color to the GLI lineup. The GLI special edition offers the same additions to the powerful model as the Fahrenheit GTI, but with an exclusive Fahrenheit yellow exterior and yellow trim and stitching in the interior. The manual transmission model is priced at $27,880 and the automatic at $28,955. The Fahrenheit GLI will also only be available in 1,200 special edition models.

Pretty much a fancy color setup with a few other fancy add-ons. There is also a special-edition New Beetle called the "Triple White" Edition, of which there will be 3000, but I have yet to see one.

IMO, they're cool, but they are more for the diehards than anything. It kinda reminds me of the old Multi-color versions they used to sell, as well as the old Music-oriented models made during the middle-'90s.

...To be frank, although I stood an admired the Fahrenheit for a while, reality kicked-in, and I ended up spending more time looking a "value-speced" Jettas.

Seriously? Where did you see that?!

Those were from the 2005 ICF. The Enzo was only a couple feet away, and had most of the attention sadly. Most people had no idea what the yellow Bugatti was.

EDIT*
Better pics.

Well, maybe it was a EB110 SS and not a GT, but it was still a first for me. I couldn't find out what country the plates where from though. I thought they might be German.

Yeah, *McLaren* wins forever, sorry M5. You will not receive win until you photograph something so totally mind blowing that it makes you crap your spleen out.

Looks like the Gallardo on the opposite side of the EB110 has even more gawkers than the Enzo. Go figure.

Regardless, great find McLaren, thanks for sharing!

I think it’s funny how small the Bugatti’s signature grille thingie is compared to the Veyron…

Yeah, I had to look for that miniscule little thing there! Looks like it ate something sour. Or maybe its trying to smoochie you. :D

That was on purpose? I always thought some cheap bastard went to the junkyard.

I think it's the green Roadster that has the gawkers near it, not the Gallardo. :sly:

Either way, both years I've gone to the Festival, something really rare has shown up. 2005 showed off the EB110 (I already seen the Enzo at Ferrari Dallas), and 2006 showed off the F40 and LP640. This was back in Sept. so the LP640 was still very rare.

Hopefully, 2007 will show off the yellow SE30 in Texas or the McLaren F1 from Austin.

Yes, German - 'D' for 'Deutschland.' Thanks for the larger pics - don't see those everyday, shows or not, and it's always nice to get interesting angles. For the record, I'd give both cars equal gawking time.

Landed in Denver tonight at 8:45 local time and decided to go to some downtown clubs with a friend at about midnight. As if Denver was welcoming me back, I saw some spectacular cars:

Lamborghini Gallardo Nera - I posted this back in January when I saw it for the first time, but since it's only 1 of 185 vehicles and one of just sixty to come to the USA I figured it was worth a second post. The day I first saw it was the day after he got it - now his temporary plates are due. It was downtown as of 1am.

Dodge Viper SRT-10. Plates indicate purchase date of a month or two ago. Always nice to get new Vipers in town!

arnage-030907.jpg

Plates on this Arnage say it's been on the road here in Denver for at least three and a half years, but this is my first spot. I got home around 2:30am and I detoured just to see if it was still there - at about 2:20am, it was, and there was a security guy standing next to it watching me.

Federal Elise.

escape-030907.jpg

New Escape - out as of two weeks ago. Temporary plates; this one's a Hybrid. The basic body structure is the same but the vehicle looks meatier and there's a nicer interior. I like it a lot - much more than the Explorer facelift. I'm not sure if they're calling this a facelift for the Escape or not; this one really blurs the lines. Engines remain the same.

 Everywhere has rap - it takes $260k to get an Arnage and another $5k for those rims, not to mention the bodyguard. Any of those amateurs have that cash?

 Everywhere has rap
Yes, but apparently Doug wasn't aware of that fact:
If there are rappers in the Denver area, that would be a shock to both me and every single resident.

An amatuer doesn't get paid, and if you want to know how much they make, why don't you research it instead of making more of your blanket statements based on speculation. Or do you have actual facts that show no rapper or someone living the "rapper lifestyle" in Denever doesn't own a Rolls, Bentley, etc.

Is there any chance that at some point in the future you might be able to make critical statements without so much exaggeration? If it's not old Alphas, its "rappers".

This is honestly the strangest reaction to a sarcastic post I've ever seen from this site - and there have been lots of them. Did you see anything good today? No. Go away. Weirdo.
