 Everywhere has rap - it takes $260k to get an Arnage and another $5k for those rims, not to mention the bodyguard. Any of those amateurs have that cash?

$100k to $130k for a '99 one. And if you get the TV's, you can live in it. :sly:

:odd:

This is honestly the strangest reaction to a sarcastic post I've ever seen from this site - and there have been lots of them.
If it was sarcasm, then why did you defend your response by then throwing in "amateur" and the car's price. OK, so you realize you were wrong, but to save face you now claim you were being sarcastic... certainly not the first time in GTP you've done that.

Did you see anything good today? No. Go away. Weirdo.
I realize you are only a teen, but please try and act a little more mature.

Oh, and because someone is not obsessed over taking photos of rare cars such as to spend hours every week doing it and posting them on the net, doesn’t mean they have not seen, or even driven very good cars. As for the topic that I responded to, you were the one making ridiculous statements on the subject of rappers in Denver in an obvious attempt to discredit sn00pie’s opinion about the Arnage.

If you didn't already have a long history on GTP of making completely false statements it probably would have gone unnoticed, but seeing as you came back to GTP after your most recent 'departure' with what appeared to be a new dedication to 'keep it real' and improve your attitude:
It seems you are already moving away from that commitment. 👎

I'll stop responding, once you start keeping it real, and yes, by all means, stick with posting pics, as that's what you do best. 👍

I am blown away by some of the cars you guys see everywhere, especially you M5Power. I would be lucky to see any of those around here. :D

I'll second that! Nothing good near here. I would go into Brockton, but my parents really don't like me going in there by myself. Maybe it's the crime rates

But, hey, my grandfather has an S-class, so I'm happy! :D

In all fairness, that's not how I perceived that. I also wasn't voicing an opinion about the Arnage, just that Arnage. Relax, 👍 no need for another pointless argument.

I like it.

I'd usually hunt down and kill people who put any impromptu aftermarket mods on a Bentley, but I really like this.

Thanks - here's the original sighting, from back on January 12th.

Looks like we both caught Neras we'd seen before.

I caught the Nera from last year back at Lamborghini Dallas today. I found out it had travelled down to Houston Lamborghini due to an interested buyer.

However, the buyer's check didn't cash, and for about 3 months or so, he kept making excuses. But his checks never went through, and he was rejected when the dealer found out he owed money elsewhere (This ended up being the cause of why his money never got through).

So Dallas has taken it back, and will show it off on April 21st (and possibly the Auto Show next Sat.).

Anyways, on streets today, every nice car was either going in a different direction, or gone before the camera was ready. :(

Come visit - Denver or Atlanta! It's quite a plane flight, but wouldn't it be worth it for a glimpse of a Gallardo Nera?

Do they come with refrigerators?!

Speaking of going a different direction, how's this:

Saw that car going northbound on Broadway here in Denver and I was headed southbound - immediate U-turn and all-out gas (with my father in the car, mind you) ensured me a couple of photos. Recent plates - four months at best. Only the third Testarossa I've ever seen.

Also:

Parked at the golf course. Not too many of those in Denver or anywhere.

Ive never seen an M5 like that, not even in pictures. Is it a real M5?
In my area you get a lot of people putting M5 and M3 badges on their cars. I need to do my homework because sometimes these older 3 series fakes trick me:(

Yep, that's a 2nd generation M5, or E34 M5.

The M5 before it was the E28.
m5-frontleft.JPG

These were only around for I think, 2-3 years.

Front shot of the E34 M5.

IMHO, the E34 and E39 M5s are definately the hottest M5s ever made though I think I'd take the E39 just because of what a monster it could be with its V10.

The one I know of has a champagne cooler.

Is it big enough to store food? Because then you really could live in it.

*McLaren*
Man Doug, you lucky SOB.

The Testarossa is a hottie, but seeing any M5 past the E39 Gen. is just luck.

:Super jealous:

Yeah - I've seen probably fewer than ten E34 M5s in my life, and this one was in the best shape of any. Plates aren't local; they might be from a suburb, but it's been with this owner for around three years. Here's one I saw in Atlanta some time ago, too. Again, not many around.

Yes - it's an E34 M5. The E34 models went from 1989 to 1995 with the M5 sold in the US from 1993 to 1995 only. They're extremely rare - I think less than 2,000 came to this country. The real peach is the E28 M5, which was sold in the US in 1988 only. Oddly I've seen more E28s than E34s.

The E34 is definitely the best looking M5 ever, but it ran just a straight six rather than a V8, and it only put out about 315 horses for a low-six second 0-60 - fast by mid-90s standards, but not much today. It's still a dynamically brilliant automobile.

I really prefer the look of old BMW's compared to the new ones.

Same - and that's not even to say I hate the new ones, which I don't. But the old ones were so good - particularly that gen 5-series ('89-'95), the '92-'98 3-series, and the '95-'01 7-series. Those three are among the better-styled cars ever.

As for more sightings today, don't ever ask me to explain the actions of Mitsubishi of North America. The new Lancer is due in June, which is still three months off, yet here it is, photographed tonight in downtown Denver. The driver was - I swear to god this is true - driving around the city, parking, and taking photographs of various bits of the Denver skyline. What this has to do with Mitsubishi is beyond me. The car had California distributor plates and a Mitsubishi of North America license plate frame.

Sorry I couldn't get a better photo but it was dark and raining and, indeed, the guy driving was standing less than 20 feet away photographing some oddly-lit building.

Other spots today:

continental_gt-031007.jpg

Mostly boring stuff - after the Testarossa sighting the rain moved in and drove decent cars out, but the rest of the week is sunny and, thanks to daylight saving's time, LIGHT!!!, which may help produce some decent car sightings.

Thats an even better 'spot' than the other EB110's, that's a Dauer EB110 with over 700bhp.

And also do I see an F1 Longtail in the background?

To be fair, it was at Goodwood FoS, so kinda doesn't count in this thread.

Was he taking pictures of the car with the skyline?

No - just random buildings. He had a very nice camera, too.

And I could have sworn you'd seen that Hummer before.

I've seen similar ones (1 2), but never that one. You can tell because the wheels are different in all three pictures. Also at least one of the other ones had Utah plates, to last night's Colorado tags.

I hate how all the good cars I see are going the other way.... I saw something that looked like it was from the 30's, couldn't tell what. I also saw a 69 Mustang Cobra Jet Convertible.

spotted today

Nice spots! 👍

Not too much from me so far today if you're into expensive sports cars, but if you're out for rarity then I caught two gems:

mr2_supercharged-031107.jpg

There are very, very few supercharged MR2s around. And there are even fewer of these:

e-class-031107.jpg

That's a Chrysler E-class. Ever heard of it? Exactly. Came out in 1983 and was so popular that it was carried alllllllll the way into the 1984 model year. And that was the end of that. I'm surprised there are any of these still on the roads anywhere. A true gem - much rarer than this:

continental_gt-031107.jpg

Which was carrying Florida plates. Or this:
