Man I love that ACR Viper! I miss the old gen so much. :(

Me too. Here's a better shot of that particular vehicle, taken on July 22, 2005:

Regular Viper GTSs are nice but I'm really lucky to have this ACR around sometimes - one of only two I've ever seen; I've seen it four times. It's a very cool car.

So, are we tied with Carrera GT spots now?

I've seen three different Carrera GTs a total of five times (six times if you count my original spot with no photo, which I do not). You?

Even if that puts me over you, you've seen two together, which certainly trumps my spots (objectively anyway, since subjectively I think the yellow/house photo is better than just about anything).

The odd part is, combined we've seen five GTs in four colors - and they only came in five colors - so one of us needs a white Carrera GT for the completed Carrera GT rainbow!

I've seen two CGTs in Ada, but sadly they came long before I was doing the car searches. The first was silver at the Porsche dealer, the second black blowing by me in front of the Amway Headquarters. Otherwise, there were the two in Miami, for a grand total of four (I don't include car shows...).

I've seen a white one....... at the auto show(I know it doesn't count). :P

ACR to me is the best looking Viper ever. I still remember the red one from Car and Driver or whatever magazine, right before the car actually came out. Those BBS wheels.

So we aren't tied yet! But I suppose I have more spots of the three than you have of your four? Regardless it's ridiculous - combined we've seen more than one percent of every US Carrera GT!

I object on these grounds:

my uncle has one of the first vipers. i will upload a picture. and i have a question. how do i get pictures on the page itself, and not just a link?

IMO, the current Viper coupe is far better looking then any GTS made to date. (Not to mention looks a ton better then the current SRT-10 as well)

(without the spaces) Vaguely put that's how.

The current one is just boring compared to the old one. It's got too much Honda S2000 in it - the looks were really watered down and it's nowhere near as recognizable. Oddly, the Ferrari 599 GTB has a bit too much Viper SRT-10 in it - but that's a different story.

I was unfairly comparing the current Viper Coupe/GTS/whatever to the current SRT-10. Out of all the Vipers the only one I really like is the current coupe. The last ACR coming at a close second. I've never liked the SRT-10/RT-10s anyway.

Not bad, but I still like the ACRs better. :sly: This Viper looks just like the million 1/18th and 1/24th diecasts that circulated around the U.S. :D

Exactly - but it's real! That's why I like it. That color combo - in my view the best one - was far too rare. It was the most flattering on that car's shape.

The current SRT-10 Coupe does seem cool in photos though I'm reserving judgement until I see one, presuming that one day I actually do. Based on photos it does look cooler than the old GTS, but I definitely think the RT/10 looks better than the SRT-10.

I was excited about the release of a new Viper bodystyle when they released this:

But then they came out with the current SRT-10 but they I finally was pleased with the current GTS. But I still like that Competition Coupe more then any of the two.

Yeah that thing would be ridiculous - but imagine how hard it would be to drive. It's like half an inch off the ground!

Well this is the only thing i get to see today :guilty:

A Ferrari F355

Only 1 Porsche Carrera GT is white, and I'll doubt any of us will see it unless we're in Europe.
Porsche only allowed the Carrera GT in Guards Red, Fayence Yellow, Basalt Black Metallic, GT Silver Metallic, & Seal Grey Metallic.

As far as anyone knows, and can tell, this is the one and only white Carrera GT.

Edit* Further research shows 6 were made, only 1 stateside. Porsche retains one, 1 was seen in Dubai, and the rest over Europe, notably outside the Monte Carlo Casino.

I thought for sure I saw a white one at the auto show, so I started googling for the pic. Not only was it silver(:ouch:), it was in 2005. I thought for sure that I saw it at the '06 or '07 auto show! Sucks to be old. :P

While this is an awesome spot, I must say I like the smashed tail light on the new Escalade much better .
Jeez, is that how they park over there? It is cool to see the spoiler in the up position. I didn't know it adjustable.
