I've been slow on the draw, so I've got pretty terrible shots of 997TTs, R8 and some other random cars that aren't worth posting because of the garbage quality.
I was sitting on a parkbench right next to where I usually stand on my breaks with my camera. If I were standing I would've gotten much much better shots of my first Elise of the year!!! He was flying through traffic being tailed by a 996TT Cab.
I wouldn't mind seeing this thing on a regular basis...
Along with watching traffic for 10 minutes every shift, I now also watch this bad boy. He hunts small birds

Also spotted an M3 Cabrio - didn't know they even existed yet!
So all in all, the cars are coming out. I see that Alfa Giulia Sprint all of the time, Carrera GT twice now, Ferrari 360s are common, a Lotus Esprit S4 and two Elises today alone, so things are shaping up for a sweet summer of photography. I also heard an AMV8 open up today - what a noise from such a small car. A mocha coloured M3 also whizzed by - me likey verrrry much.

Jaguar 420: And I think this color looks great on this car... simply stunning in person.
Flying Spur: I was under whelmed... it didn't seem big at all, come to think of it seems like a over priced A8... Give me the Audi any day.
Dodge Daytona Iroc: Dont see these every day... specially here in California, I think they are cool little cars. I'd drive it
Arnage: I think it is one, but I kind of hid behind the bush because the owner was there and I felt weird taking a pic of their house :S
Came back later and their garage was open and had a Ferrari 550 Maranello in it... well I think it was a 550, if someone can ID it would be cool but it was dark and I couldn't tell...
996: With stripped tags and a couple extras I thought it looked cool.
S2000: Normally I wouldn't photo these but I don't recall every seeing a red one...
Porsche Carrera GT: See this pop up around town every once in awhile, first time I saw it was a couple years ago so it's nothing new.
Found Doug's twin... they even have the same amount of cylinders!!! (I know you hate people thinking you have a 4cyl instead of a 6er)

Droool on your Carrera GT. I would be there for a while wasting exposures - stunning car in a relatively empty parking lot is money for the camera lens.

It's a huge parking lot for a non exsistant grocery store... and with construction all around.

Mine was more like a month ago... I don't go spotting enough or have my camera on me enough.
The spot of the gray Ferrari 360 Modena was my 1,000th career car sighting (not my 1,000th car, but my 1,000th unique sighting). I would like to thank everyone on GTP for making that and all previous sightings possible. Without this forum, I would not be the person that I am today, and I say that with full knowledge of how weird that makes me sound. This forum has inspire a love for cars that was dormant and a love for exotic cars that I simply didn't know existed. This forum has singlehandedly made me appreciate this hobby and the members here have singlehandedly made me continue doing it through their kind words.
Honestly if not for GTP I don't know what I would be doing right now, but it would be nowhere near as enjoyable.
Thanks to everyone who has given me praise over the last three years spotting cars... here's to 1,000 more.

It's a Peregrine falcon. They were threatened with extinction in many parts of the world due to Hunting and the pesticide DDT. Since then, after the ban of DDT and increased governmental protection from hunters, they have bounced back. In fact, unlike most falcons, they have adapted really well to urban environments.... thanks to a generous supply of pigeons and tall buildings. 👍Along with watching traffic for 10 minutes every shift, I now also watch this bad boy.
