Thanks for the shots. Just for technicality's sake, the plural of Lotus is Lotus.

The Omega is a German Lotus, so it was a beefed-up Opel Omega becoming Lotus Omega, while the UK used the Vauxhall Carlton, making the Lotus Carlton. The badges on the nose stayed on both versions of the cars. Your cellphone managed to show the deep green of the paint, which often comes off as black. Those things are such beasts.

Spot on. I raced against one (in purely legal conditions, obviously) in my Golf Rallye once. I had him all over the shop right up until about 110mph, then he just took off like he had reheat. Hard work clawing him back in. :)

Joey... you aware how ridiculously rare that GT2 is?! Nice spot.

McLaren... thanks for the photos... were many people paying any attention to it, or did no one know what it was?

Quite a few people came to look at it when they saw it said Lotus. Most are more affiliated with the Elise than anything else. I know the owners were kept busy talking though. :P

Haha, that reminds me, a few weeks back i saw one of those shortened VW buses, funky little things they are..

I was seriously peeved with my cameras inability to take 2 photos within an alotted time today, i sat down and was just about to put my shoes on to go to work when a frikkin Viper SRT-10 pulls up at the traffic lights outside my house!

Didnt hear it, just looked up and gawped for a milisecond, jumped up, camera on....starting up (2-3 secs)...click. The viper was now behind a large bush which completely blocked out its existence. The first SRT-10 ive seen and only the 2nd viper i've ever seen ever, needless to say i wasnt happy with my cameras sluggish performance.

On the way to work coming towards me on the bridge was a ferrari 360, in red, same one i've missed out on at least 3 times already, i didnt even have 2 secs to start the camera up, so, i didnt bother...

Im thinking i need to invest a little more of my money on a decent, quick starting digital compact and not so much on lenses for my 20D, anyone got any suggestions for a quick compact, i know the fuji F10 is fast but i hate XD cards...

Anyway, an old photo, but R32 GT-R, me likey, not common here either:

Some of you might know that i have recently gotten a new camera. Well this weekend is my first time trying to car hunt with it. These spots are nothing special but i'll post them anyways because im still learning how to use the camera. :dopey:

I see a lot of S2k's but not many driven by chicks

the bad image quality is not because i did some extreme cropping. Its because it was taken on a moving bus and the TTC does not wash the windows on their busses :yuck:

Just a few GT2's

Yellow car is not a GT2... that photo was taken in front of the Intercontinental in Atlanta and we've had this discussion before. Red calipers = NOT a GT2 since all GT2s came with PCCB... the owner has put GT2 badges on to be a tool.

Black car to left is Jaguar XJ.

That's the same car with different rims, it had the same tag from FL. Do they also change the exhaust tips on the GT2's? cause the one at the hotel had the quad tip where the real ones all seem to have just the dual.

I know it's the same car hence posting that pic. GT2s do not have a rear wiper like that one does and they DO have PCCB. However... it could've been customized. I honestly don't know for sure but the general thought is it is NOT a GT2.

Um, the GT2 can have either the duals, or the quad exhaust that looks like a dual.

Totally missed out tonight. I had the worst luck of all time with my camera. I spot a sweet Vanquish around the corner from my house, so I go home to fetch the tripod and camera. Upon return, the AM is gone, go figure. I hit up plan B, which is a Maserati Gran Turismo a half-block further away. I set up across the street to get some distant shots first. Three test exposures in, my battery runs flat just as the owner gets out to sit in the car with the sweet blue HID's on, which would've made for money shots. Go figure. In a total fit, I continue around the block to try and get the double failure out of my head when low-and-behold there is a lone Murcielago Roadster with decent lighting and all alone on that side of the street. Go freaking figure. 3 missed shoots of really really sexy cars all on one not-even-that nice Sunday night.

I'm heading out to get some photos of an RS4 and e46 M3 with huuuge BBS RCs together near here at 7am tomorrow, so if any of those shots work out, I'll post what I got of the Maserati. Soooo angry right now.

Going by last night's failure, looks like there could be nice cars regularly parked near here so I'll check out the scene tonight.
