is that bentley photoshopped? the reflections dont seem to match
Anyway, to the point in question. What is the number plate on the Benters? Is that Middle Eastern?
Hey pimpin_t - long time no see. What ever happened about your brother (?) brother-in-law coming to HK?

Somewhere concerning the aerospace business, I presume, as it is on airport property.
And it's a wee bit more than $130,000 when you put it in Canadian dollars.
chaser_fanThat's about it. Pics later. I'm going to put all the Porsche pics together just to show you how many there are in HK. The pics count for about 40% of the Porsches I saw in that time too, as the rest were all Boxsters, Caymans, standard looking Carreras and Cayennes - I'm going to be sick if I see another Porsche! Send me some DB9s M5Power!
Mark TTaken from a Ford Fiesta forum I visit. This picture was taken in the car park of the Dorchester Hotel in London.
chaser_fanHaha! Anytime. Actually my colleague is from the Bronx.
Yes - and though harry said he counts them inside shows too, I personally don't - if you did that, it'd be a lot easier. Plus, if you did that, I would've already seen a Veyron! In my view, the ONLY cars that count are in public or private, just so long as they're not on display or being serviced. I would even count a sighting in a car dealer's parking lot, with my sole stipulation being that the vehicle had private plates. But if it's on display or being serviced, then no way.
M5PowerI swear I'm right - I'm not sure why you think the DS was manu-matic (the article doesn't state that) but Teletouch is more of a push-button gear selector that anything else. Neither are automatic transmissions with a manual shifter, which is what Tiptronic is. Really - the 968 was the first! (and the 911 which debuted the feature that year also)
WikipediaThroughout its model lifetime, the DS managed to remain ahead of its time. It featured power disc brakes, a hydropneumatic suspension including an automatic levelling system and variable ground clearance, power steering and a semi-automatic transmission. A fiberglass roof reduced weight transfer. Inboard front brakes (as well as an independent suspension) reduced unsprung weight. Different front and rear track widths and tire sizes reduced the understeer typical of front-engined and front-wheel drive cars.
M5PowerYeah - totally agree. I'm not sure the theory behind ordering one in silver - though the vehicle did have Rotary Club plates so maybe the old guy driving it couldn't see himself in a red, yellow, or purple car.harrytuttleThe Prowler is one of the few cars that just looks awful in silver (a color any other car can be safe in). The louder the color, the better the Prowler looks.
M5PowerIf I see another DB9, I'll throw up.
M5Power- a woman in her 20s who looked stunningly like Rachel Bilson -
Outside or inside an auto show should be fair game. A showroom or dealership is probably not. But if you see something on the ultra-rare list (classics, 959, McLaren F1, XJ220, Skyline GT-R in the US, etc.) then I'm all for it, no matter where it's found.
I went down the old favourite location, the footbridge, today and saw some nice cars but nothing really special...
- Red Peugeot 205 GTi (Common everywhere else but only the 2nd I've seen in HK)
- Red Ferrari 360 Modena on the back of a break down truck
- Yellow Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale (Seen it before though)
- Red Ferrari 360 Modena Spider
- An old Bentley Turbo R in white (Nod to M5Power last week)
- A hatrick of AMG SL55 (I love this car)
- Aston DB7 GT in silver (Never really liked this car)
- Various Porsche 911s in various guises (Highlight was a yellow wannabe 993 GT2)
- A few different Skyline varients (No GT-Rs)

I think I'm being misunderstood here. I don't mean shows like the NYIAS or Geneva. I mean shows like local gatherings, club meets...stuff like that. In those cases, nothing's really inside anyway.
But dealer showrooms (direct or specialist) are out. At least for me. Too easy.
I think the WRX looks best in WRC blue, but it's just not me. I had to have something gray. Maybe that makes me an old man, too... I think it has to do with wanting the car, but not the attention.
You wish.
DukeI know, I know, I don't have a picture. But I saw a Maybach yesterday at the local Bertucci's restaurant. First one I've seen in the metal.
Diego440why does the tow truck put on an additional licence plate on the Ferrari? Is it the tow truck's licence plate? Weird.

Fair - I wouldn't want ten zillion tickets either. It's also a good reason to consider a Ferrari in a color other than red or yellow. I mean, a silver 575M will never get noticed as a Ferrari. I'm not sure though - if I bought an STi, with all its power, or paid $200k for a 575, I think I'd want to get noticed. I'd probably get the vehicles in blue and red respectively - but I'd probably eventually regret it.
It's not just the police attention, it's the attention from meatheads who want to race. I currently get enough crap as it is. If I could have a fleet of cars (like, 5) so I wouldn't be stuck with the same car every day, then the STi would have been blue. And any Ferrari I could afford would be red.
The last time I was in Atlanta I saw four Phantoms, a 360, a CL65, and a Maybach in the space of an hour so I'm pretty stoked. I guess we'll see what happens...
RDXs? They sell them now?
Saw a beautiful Yellow C6 Z06 on a farm road.
but I also sighted the new Dodge Caliber as the brand is being reconstructed in Australia.
