Golf Fahrenheit GTI, only 1200 made. I've seen two

Some Kia that was halfway covered up. Another one was behind it and they were both dirty and looked like they were long term tested.

Two days ago I saw a car with the plate 'Madonna".

It was a BMW M5 I THINK. Next time I see it I will try and snap it.

Most probably my last car spot in London as I will be moving to Birmingham but here goes.

Cadillac EXT?

I still don't see why people like the Veyron, I think it's pretty ugly to be honest. Would much rather rock the 599 it's parked by.

It may look ugly and all, but its still a piece of fantastic engineering not to mention one of the fastest car money can buy.

But I do like the 599 and the Pearl white is gorgeous. Droolss

Absolutely beautiful white Rolls Royce and white 599, not to mention the G-Class at the back... is that guy checking out the little kid?:ill: and whats up with the white cones....? Lovely flowers at the back I gotta say...

Great spots man, I wish I knew where to go to see this many good cars in London. This post has made my day.

What's the plate on the Veyron?

And I still have no idea why anyone would want Bad Dental Hygiene White for a car, nevermind a freaking 599. That's the colour old Volvos have turned, and they're 30 year old economy cars. Why would you want that?

KSA = Kingdom Saudi Arabia / black plate stands for royalty.
and believe me that the white 599 and the white phantom and the black G55 belong to Saudi's, especially when they're parked infront of Dorchester Hotel!
Chris

That's a long drive, Saudi Arabia to London? Really?

LOL, do you really think that the son of they King drives 6000km to London?! :scared:

They all air transport them there or in most of the cases they live there anyways so they cars are stationed there, otherwise always air transport!

Chris.

btw, in 2007 i drove from Dubai to Paris in my car

Hey you never know, I mean if you are that wealthy what else do you have to do with your time? You might as well buy extremely high end cars and take them for an epic drive...I'd do it.

But ya I can see where one would want to transport their car.

===

From the past week or so.

Civic Wagovan, I haven't seen one of these in a really long time. This one was in good condition too.

R350 AMG, a 510hp crossover? Really?

IS300 Sport Cross, I've maybe see one or two other ones in person.

R350 AMG, a 510hp crossover? Really?

Did they not make an R55? Has the R350 AMG always been the top-shelf R-Class? Either way, I always laugh when I see R's though because you know someone somehow justified buying a 70,000$ minivan.

PS - anyone seen an E-Class Coupe? I was surprised to see one a couple weeks ago. No photo.

Actually the AMG version was the R63, which they don't sell anymore. I believe the best we get now is the R550, and for the R350/500/550, the AMG package is simply the visuals from the R63.

These pictures are actually taken about a month ago, but I forgot to put them up here :ouch:

First is a Aston Martin DB9:

Some Porsche (don't know the name of it):

And then a completely white Audi R8

Actually that's a Turbo S (side air intake and yellow brake calipers). One of only 183 cars made. Great spot! 👍

EDIT: Some extra info to show you what a special car you saw

Turbo S

During the second to the last year of production of the 993 (1997), Porsche offered the 993 Turbo S. Ultimately 183 cars were sold. The Turbo S is a high-spec Turbo including a power upgrade to 424 hp (SAE) for the American market and to 450 hp (DIN) in other markets. The inclusion of extras including carbonfibre decoration in the interior makes it different from the earlier lightweight, spartan 964 Turbo S. The 993 Turbo S is recognized by yellow brake calipers, a slightly larger rear wing, a 4-pipe exhaust and air scoops behind the doors. This was the last of the air-cooled Turbos. 12 Turbo S cars were delivered to Australia.

Most critics today call it "the best porsche ever made" and that "it will never be defeated."

It was based on the GT2 but with 4WD and it was a bit more luxurious. It has the same brakes as the GT2 and same basic shape as the GT2.

Yeah I posted one a couple of weeks back. They look pretty good although I think the amount of body between top of the rear wheel well and the window line is way too much...

Don't worry, Porsche's are pretty infamous for being hard to identify straight away. I didn't know one from the other a few years ago, it took the GTP Porsche enthusiasts to put me straight. Now I reckon I'm a dab hand at distinguishing between the different flavours of Pork.
