Anyway, The dlc is a fair price, less than a tenner for a fair amount of bits and pieces. Hopefully the next one has more tracks and less cars.

Yes they do - I got a fluro yellow, a fluro green and a bright lurid red one + the touring cars are great fun to drive

If they give you paint chips for those then that's a plus.

i stupidly brought the complete pack and due to the lack of download/install made me download the race car pack in confusion. £6 extra quid spent and doubles of all of the DLC cars. *facepalm*

So can you 'gift' them? Heh. I have a lovely selection of over 650 cars and a variety of tickets to trade you...........

Did you get the cars double-time in the game, due to buying full bundle first, then rebuy cars??

This is of great concern to many of us, as it is unclear how it would be handled to get 'another load' of cars, paints etc...

So right, I've made my mind.
I'm not buying full pack DLC.
I'm not spending 20 euros for a PSN card to buy DLC which I won't be able to:
- use on other accounts
- re-download
because:
- Sony/PD are beyond sad for doing what they did
- 3 karts, 1 X2010 and 11 more RMs, 1 track and 1 paint chip of each just aren't worth my money

I bought what I needed - racing gear DLC and that's all I need.


I've always supported PD and defended GT5 until now and you know what - I don't care anymore, in my eyes they're not better (they might be even worse) than EA which says a lot.

Same here, thinking of picking up a US version for my US account. But the screw-up is that EU savefiles are not compatible with US version, so I'll have to start from scratch. Already lvl 40 in B-spec and 36 in A-spec

hey wait guys I think I have the problem figured out....... Microsoft bought SONY without telling anyone.

This exactly how Microsoft does it with ALL the DLC for all their games they support 1DLC for Each Account. and no sharing between accts. or moving DLC to any acct if you make a mistake in your purchase.(know this for a fact as I get these types of calls all day long at work)

Exactly. I have a 360 and this is how it is with every game. DLC is per profile, not per system.

I can verify fully. I brought the complete pack and i was confused due to the lack of download needed, so proceed to choose the race car pack thinking i would get it free. I then brought the race car pack by accident.

So therefore i had the complete pack, and the race car pack. Which meant i then had 2 of each of the DLC cars. Therefore 30 tickets in all

That´s a shame, as I don´t have the money to take this risk. So until this matter is clarified, I will not be buying this I guess -.-

Sorry, grid girls are in the *next* DLC, 15 different types, $1.99 each, can't trade, can't share, and a .05 micropayment every time you use them before an online race. Also, they will nag you to clean out the garage.

+1 I dont get the passion for it either although I am getting it soon. All about La Sarthe and the green hell.

I can just tell you, why I love that track. I am German, and I was 12 when Micheal Schuhmacher won his first Grand Prix ever at Spa. He drove his first Grand Prix there a year before. Quite often there where epic battles in the rain F1 races.

Then it is a very long track for modern standards. Many high speed corners, elevation changes, classic track passages like Rau Rouge, La Source, Kemmel, Blanchimont, Bus Stop (allthough it got altered in the last years) and so on and so on.
I love that track.

Ok, all done with the drama yet? Good.

No doubt the DLC contains some of the best visual eye candy so far.

Spa should be pretty much a no brainer for everyone. The track is absolutely stunning to look at and to race on. Fantastic highly atmospheric stuff. Simply brilliant and a new benchmark.

The cars are a must have for the enthusiast. Others might want to skip them though they'll be missing out on premium Premiums. Sound, visuals, performance, everything.

The Prius is a hoot to race. Hoot. Hoot. And I'm absolutely in love with the miata. Redefines the premium tag in my opinion.

Got the full package, worth every cent to me.

Never mind the shambles with the car tickets, at least Spa should make everyone very happy. And it's sort of free in multiplayer, too.

And can't Sony just delete the current DLC off the PSN Store so PD can re-code it so that it would be available across multiple accounts? It shouldn't be too hard. I'm ticked right now. Screw Sony for being greedy and screw PD for taking Sony's crap!

Well, within the trading limit, you can already dupe paint chits by gifting them back and forth. Has anyone tried this with the DLC paint? I'm not surprised you can't gift the DLC cars, but it would be amusing if the market were suddenly flooded with bootleg paint chits. FIGHT DA PWER woooooooooo yeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.............
