I use a belt when available, regardless of the type of transport (even in a plane; turbulence can kill you). My parents had belts installed in the rear before they were required by law in Finland. That was at least 25 years ago. Anyway, for me it's not so much protection. A seat belt improves the feel when you're driving. The better your a$$ stays on the seat, the better you feel the weight transfer. :)

Same. I don't want to get hurt because the moron in the backseat flew up into my passenger cabin in the front.

And I don't give a **** if the rest of the passengers in somebody else's car don't wear them, I belt in anyway.

I'm always wearing a seat belt... i've been caught once without it, when i started driving, and it's pretty costly!

I wear an extra strap around my chest as well. (physical reasons) I've been meaning to get a racing harness for a few years now, but haven't ever found time/money between cars, lol.

I have it on all the time....Not only because its safe but it feels nice when you brake and your body doesnt slide forward, especially with Racing Seats

I do always. Its gotten to the point that if I don't have it on, I feel naked, or missing something. Like something isn't right. I can ride in the back od someones car without one though. Its only while in the fronts seat I feel this way. Back seats I never have a seat belt on.

Same here

I always wear mine except when in the backseat of cars and stuff. I'm exactly like Magic069...

Er, are you riding in the back seat or doing other stuff? Some activities in the back seat would be quite difficult with seat belts on.

I always wear mine, if you are told to from the time you are little then the first thing you do when you get in a car is put one on. Sometimes I find myself wearing one when i am just sitting in the car waiting for someone.

I haven't been driving for that long, I never remember to check my passengers for seatbelts. I'll start doing that more, not because I really care if they get hurt but I don't want to get pulled over and get a ticket because someone decided they didn't need one.

I think older people are more likely to not wear seatbelts, I notice sometimes my parents forget. I guess they were raised with it like I was.

Guess I'm like everybody else. Mine is always on, or I'm not going anywhere. I even where it to drive across the parking lot to my girlfriend's apartment. But, I do have a very good reason. You see, like many of you, my parents pounded it into my head since I was little. Plus, add in the fact that my dad is a Police officer, and well, you get my point.

Always on. (Saved my life once)

Although lately I've been lazy on those short trips (like going to the store for milk) and I'm a little peeved at myself for it
