Okay. Nic Nemeth and Okada in the Men's Rumble now, please.

I like the Rumble matches, Cody was the best pick to win (if you don't count R Truth), CM Punk doesnt just return and shoot off straight away with the Rumble like Batista did 10 years ago and there is now a sign that we can finally get rid of the Bloodline storyline and save Smackdown (its a 4 year storyline that shouldve been cut down to 1, oh my god), Bayley winning sets up the turn against Damage Control while teasing Rhea Ripley in the mean time though I dont think she needed to win the Rumble for that to happen but minor complaint.

The Championship matches were awful, not even a little storyline effort in the WWE Title match to pretend like its worth investing and ends very anticlimatic (also the stack thing is as dumb as ever), the U.S Championship was better than I feared but its the equivalent of trading away ** for ** lite, still depressing as a KO fan to see KO keep taking Ls like a stepping stone to heel champions that dont even show up, losing by DQ doesnt change that.

Elimination Chamber looks completely dead for the Mens. Roman Reigns and Logan Paul won't show up due to their part time status, Seth Rollins and Gunther can't show up due to injury and legal issues respectively. Its only purpose is for the Women matches and maybe a No. 1 contender Chamber match for the World Championship if they do that which will be a predictable waste of time like the other Chambers in recent years

I liked both Rumble matches and both winners, for Bayley its so well deserved as she has been taking a backseat the last couple of years to make sure that new roster talents IYO Sky and Dakota Kai get their chance and get over. Its been pretty selfless and the sign of a proper locker room leader, her story leading into Mania is pretty simple for me. She'll get kicked out of Damage CTRL, turn face, challenge IYO for the title and then win it maybe in the main event of the first night.

Its Deja Vu for Cody, winning the Rumble back to back for the first time in 26 years then immediately pointed to Roman who was watching in a Sky Box, hopefully it will be singles match between the two and not a triple threat involving the Rock, and even more hopefully that Cody will finish the story!

Both Rumble matches had some great moments, Naomi's emotional return, Jade Cargill debuting by lifting Nia Jax on her shoulders and tossing her out! R-Truth mistakenly 'entering' the women's rumble ,TNA knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace entering and having a great showing, CM Punk looked spent by the end of the Rumble match and he wasn't in it that long which isn't a good sign, Jimmy and Jey started the Rumble off and I think they will have a match at Mania, It looks like that Bron Breakker maybe took Brock Lesnar's place in the match and do so well eliminating some of the bigger guys.

Both title matches weren't so great sadly, the fatal four way was good but the finish was standard bloodline, the US title match was great but the finish was awful, how can we expect the ref to see brass knucks on a guys hand when they hardly see anything?! The aftermath with KO putting Paul through the announce table will maybe lead to a re match though.

If certain reports are to be believed, Bron Breakker was a replacement for Brock Lesnar, which means in an alternate timeline Dirty Dom elminated Lesnar from a Royal Rumble which would've been fun as hell. (Brock was apprently pulled owing to all but being named in the latest round of "Vince McMahon is a terrible person")

Brock wasn't actually named, there is a person in the evidence that is described as 'a former WWE Champion and UFC Champion' which is definitely him but Brock's name wasn't in there.

I figured Pat Mcafee was the replacement given it seemed like a throwaway pick at the last minute for some comedy

Pat said his reaction was completely real as no one gave him the heads up!

Apparently Brock Lesnar would have had a match with Dominik at Elimination Chamber, could you imagine that?!

I only watched the Rumble matches. Honestly I thought the Women's match was way more entertaining with the return of Naomi, Jordynne Grace's cameo and Jade Cargill's debut. The Men's was decent but aside from maybe Bron Breakker destroying everyone, there wasn't too many memorable moments in it. Cody winning was the right choice though. Rollins/Punk didn't need Punk winning the Rumble to make it happen.

Signed up to WWE network, first PPV I've actually watched in full in years. Enjoyed both Rumbles. McAfee's spot was just odd, makes more sense now with the Brock news. Was quite surprised that Cody won as I thought they were all in on Roman/Rock at Wrestlemania. R-Truth continues to be the MVP.

Fatal 4-Way was as bad and predictable as ever. Yawn. Just end the whole Bloodline snorefest, retire Roman if he's only going to show up sporadically. A waste of the other 3 especially now Cody has jumped to the front of the line (is he switching to Smackdown now he's going back after Roman?). I'd have much rather just seen a straight triple threat.

During the times where the Royal Rumble winner has 2 choices, its inconsistent on what happens when the winner wants the Championship in the other brand.

Chris Benoit on Smackdown started it in 2004 as apparently it was a loop hole that doesnt specify which champion and chose the Raws World Heavyweight Championship which moved him to Raw. Next winner that chose another brands championship was Randy Orton on Raw in 2009 who went after Smackdowns WWE Championship however Randy Orton stayed on Raw. Asuka on Raw in 2018 went after the Smackdown Womens Championship however she stayed on Raw and only moved to Smackdown during the Superstar Shake-Up. Becky Lynch was a weird one where she was on Smackdown when she won the Royal Rumble in 2019, chose the Raw Womens Championship and essentially became apart of both shows until she won both belts and then without a draft, became apart of Raw after she lost Smackdown Womens Championship but kept the Raw one.

So to the answer your question, we don't know if Cody Rhodes will just move to Smackdown or stay on Raw while going after the Championship but if its the latter, normally it leads to the title or him moving afterwards anyway

Raw should be good tonight with all the fall out from the Rumble.

CM Punk is scheduled to make an appearance.
Finn Balor/Damien Priest v DIY-tag title match.
Gunther v Kofi Kingston-IC title match.
Jey Uso v Bronson Reed.

...and CM Punk may be injured, possible torn tricep
That was his AEW injury too and was out like 9 months. Rough luck and maybe time to hang it up. Go be a coach in nxt or something.

Hope they go Gunther vs Rollins at Mania. Reliable Drew is still there and deserves a title win in front of fans.

I thought he didn't look right during the end of the match, when it was down to the final two between him and Cody he looked exhausted and he wasn't in the match that long as he entered at number 27, I wonder how he picked up the injury.

He will be on the show tonight but that might be it for him for a while, if its surgery that's 4-6 months out, it puts the World title picture up in the air even more after Seth's injury.

First hour of Raw tonight will be commercial free, both Rumble winners Cody Rhodes and Bayley expected to be there.

CM Punk has his right arm in a sling and said he tore his right tricep, he was obviously a bit upset but he said there was always next year but he was met by a gleeful Drew McIntyre who said that he prayed for Punk to get hurt, Punk responded by saying that the first thing he was going to do when he comes back is go after Drew, Drew then attacked Punk and his tricep before Sami Zayn made the save, Drew then beat Zayn in the main event.

There was a great face to face between Rhodes and Rollins when Seth told Cody to chenge his mind and challenge him for the title instead of Roman, Rhodes said he'll think about it. It was definitely the highlight of the show and it needs to be watched if you haven't seen it, Both title matches last night were great, R-Truth and the Miz were sadly beaten up by Judgement Day.

The new commentary teams going forward are Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on Raw with Corey Graves and Wade Barrett on Smackdown.

A lot of us probably still miss the times of Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Anyhow, CM Punk gave an incredible speech before McIntyre's interference. I'm a big Kofi Kingston fan, but I knew Kofi wasn't going to trip up Gunther. Seth Freaking Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes could be an absolute cracker of a match.

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes face to face set for Smackdown tonight, also on the show will be Bayley making her Wrestlemania decision and Logan Paul, no matches have actually been advertised!

Y'know, I'm not that upset anymore. At least Cody basically was "I want you, but not yet"

I'm betting either Summerslam or Crown Jewel.

Every day, I'm becoming more like "new" Daniel Bryan, hating endless consumption wrestling fans endlessly throwing money at things not worthwhile to ruin the product
