Have you considered Roman Reigns? Several reports are pegging him to take on Lesnar at WM for the title, however, if there is no credible challengers for Lesnar now, wouldn't Vince give Reigns a push to at least contend for the title sooner rather than later?

I'm indifferent to Reigns. I care not about "the look" that many carry on about, he's just relatively unimpressive in the ring to me now. If they can build him properly and expand his move set, sure, I'd be willing to entertain the thought.

Sooner isn't going to happen though. The earliest Reigns enters the title picture (and not as a fill-in for Bryan) would be a shy bit earlier of this time next year.

@Liquid - He doesn't have to look weak at NoC. If they're going to keep Cena the way he is, then it's time he's humbled. SS was brilliant because that's exactly what it did - humbled Cena in front of several thousand people in a bout that no one wouldn't believe could actually happen in the first place, and not only that but in a way no one saw coming; when was the last time Cena was pummeled for majority of the match to never come back and "rise above"? By having him go for his title rematch at NoC this could be an actual match where Cena gets some good offense but in the end loses again in yet another fashion no one saw coming: submission.

Cena, with the never give up thing.. it could easily set up an "I Quit" match, but in the end Cena would still lose by way of the ref calling off the match due to Cena being "knocked out".

Thus not actually giving up...

But they just used that finish with Rusev/Swagger so I doubt they'd pull that same one again two PPVs in a row.

Get that logic out of here... this is WWE we're talking about. Benoit doesn't exist, Angle doesn't exist.. albeit not in the same way as Benoit, and Jericho is the best in the world at what he does.

WWE doesn't remember anything that happened more than a few weeks ago.

I like the Paige/AJ storyline, they have had some good matches thus far and I'm enjoying seeing who is crazier of the two...

Raw promises to be good tonight, its the season premiere with a Summerslam re-match between Orton and Reigns, a steel cage match between Wyatt and Jericho and Jerry Springer will be there to...but that will involve the Bella Twins :indiff:

Both absolutely bore me to tears.

Randy Bore-ton, ugh.
Reigns is punch, punch, spear, punch. I absolutely detest the "superman punch" equally as much as Show's WMD. It's the kind of move that just doesn't work. There's nothing to really differentiate it from a regular punch. Why not just go for it straight away if it's just a punch? Reigns could be awesome but needs an expansive moveset, but obviously that ain't gonna happen because they appear to be grooming him as the next Cena.

Jericho vs Wyatt in a cage should be interesting though. As long as they avoid the creepy children on mics this time!

I initially thought he was going to adapt the Superman Punch into a flying-forearm-esque move, similar to what AJ Styles does. On the subject of Reigns being the new Cena, I agree that, unfortunately, a limited move-set is what they're after if they want to get him over with the marks. He will probably adopt three or four new moves as his career goes on though.

Soooo Rosa is back out of rehab and hotter than ever.

She's back with what might be the most kick-ass theme the WWE has used in years but that video. God damn.

Sad news today that former WCW and WWF wrestler Sean O'Haire has passed away after committing suicide, he was a WCW tag team champion with Chuck Palumbo and moved over to WWF during the Invasion angle but got lost in the wave of other WCW stars making the move to the other company and didn't really make much of an impact there and was released three years later, he has since dabbled in MMA and opened a Barber shop in 2009 and it was around then that suffered from depression, he was found hanged in his bedroom late on Monday night...

RIP Sean :(

I didn't know it was suicide. Heard a story about him on Wrestlezone about him working with an injured guy at a tryout and how he could have shown him up really easy but he actually protected the guy.

Really bad to see a guy take his own life.

Thought Raw was pretty good last night, Lesnar wasn't injured during the brawl with Cena and the Rusev/Henry thing was the main event because of the show was shown the same time as two Football games and they needed the Cena/Lesnar bit to be during the half time of those games to get the most viewers..

Hello monatsende. Long time no talk. Let me expand the question. Have you ever watched wrestling? :)
Hey m8h3r! Long time, indeed. Those ol` GT5 trading days, gone forever. :(

By accident I saw some "moves" when I was zapping through channels. But I do not consider it "sport" (despite heavy physical approach) but a show. More like a "sport comedy" with bad actors. Sorry. That`s how I see it. Plus I don`t like sports/activities with heavy problems concerning doping, anabolica/steroids, painkiller, inofficial agreements etc. (For some reasons named before I don`t like professional cycling à la Tour de France, too.) But each to his own.

was requested by the WWE to join the "circus". So the wrestling topic is relevant in German media. But only a bit...
