drift challenge

Yes.

Back to drift car, it seems all powerfull car in GT2 is driftable. here, HKS R33 Drag:

This car surprisingly easy to drift. The front end will follow whereever front wheel directed during sideways. I need to use tire stagger though, Sports/Simulation, and 6.0/0.0 camber.

that proves may exist exceptions, especially in particular conditions of the road, tires, corner type etc

Yeah. Drift may actually be a bit faster in the rain or other such unusual circumstances...but on a dry track made of pavement..grip simply makes more efficient use of the engine's power as the car corners. Trust me, me (and others here) have done thousands of laps in GT2. One night in one of our setup versus setup threads, I sat there and did about 80 laps around Deep Forest in my Lotus Europa (remember that Sucahyo?) I'm telling you...any extra behaviour (tire squeal, sliding, etc) would result in a loss of time, whether it be just a few thousandths of a second or whatever...

Very cool. Unfortunately here's what I got when I tried to watch the video...
