I doubt a Driveclub 2 will happen after the lay-offs and bad launch reviews that Sony will be most concerned about. I think we'll only be given one or two cars for a couple more months.
I can dream though... 5 or 6 new locations and an array of new cars (hopefully with all the previous cars + DLC). It'd be the only game I'd happily pay £40+ for. :)

Don't forget the new tracks that Rushy mentioned last month - okay, not locations, but still...new tracks.

With Sony making the game a service, I think some kind of regularity will be established. I'm sure it won't be anywhere as intense as the original season pass, like you say considering the lay-offs, but there will be new cars and the tracks.

Still, the number of opponents on track could be increased, and the soundtrack is beginning to get stale. With Evo constantly releasing new cars, it seems unlikely that a sequel is anywhere near imminent, as it would be more logical to hold off the newer cars, like the 488 GTB, for the next game then.

So, are they going to add new difficulty levels below the easiest one, and above 'Legend'? Or are they going to tweak the preexisting difficulty levels? If it's the former, I'm all for it.

They did say recently that difficulty levels will be added as an option.

people play with music on in the game? muting the music was the first thing I did, lol, but then again I don't want any distractions from being able to hear the revs I'm at ;)

I assume you're talking about the racing BGM? It's turned off by default. I was mostly talking about the menu BGM, they should've made more remixes of those.

Or different songs altogether, I could recommend them a few good ones

Late at night with good headphones and YouTube makes the menu music sound soooo good. Muted on the game though because my TV has awful sound. Also doesn't do the car sounds justice. :( I hope there's something like a 2.0 update in Driveclub just to make everything seem fresh and new again. Added music or even a UI update while racing would be nice, just look at The Crew: Wildrun's new speedo to start feeling jealous. ;)

Just keep throwing ideas out in the hope they look through these forums.

I would personally like to see Deadmau5, Plump DJs, Stanton Warriors and The Chemical Brothers doing remixes of the soundtrack.
I'd get a bit bored of remixes of the same songs, no matter how good they are. It's odd, but I'm an odd person

A €50 2.1 speaker set from Logitech or similar will make an unbelievable upgrade from TV speakers. Just do it! :) Or spend more money if you want better sound, but that's not required for a basic, massive upgrade from TV speakers.
You don't even need a speaker set with digital input for direct connection to the PS4, mine is just hooked up with old fashioned analogue cable to the headphone jack on the TV.

Because of the subwoofer it will likely even be a better choice for games and action movies than for instance a significantly more expensive soundbar, even if that one has better midrange and treble. I was thoroughly underwhelmed recently when comparing a pricier soundbar to my cheap Logitech 2.1 set. Unless you add a subwoofer to the soundbar it's going to lack the punch you want from games.

You're just in time! I was thinking of getting a sound bar. I'll look into this, thanks. :) Hopefully it'll actually work with the Driveclub unlike the Logitech wheel... (Had to)

If you opt for a cheap 2.1 speaker set, make sure you don't get one with the lowest watt output (I can't remember mine, maybe 16 W or something).
I have no problems with it being loud enough in games and TV, but I come across some movies now and then where the sound level is pretty low and the speakers can just about cope for dialogue scenes when I crank them up to near full volume. I'd say go for at least 20-25 W. Or more if you have a big living room or just want it LOUD. But then you will be looking at a step or several above the cheapest options.

Do it, I got a soundbar and subwoofer by Sony, admittedly £150 but it sounds phenomenonal. I am sure I am pissing off my neighbours, particularly when I drive that rather noisy Renault RS01 beast!!

That's not very relevant since you were playing an ARCADE RACER as mentioned above...
You still dont get it it seems. My point is that there are great arcade games and bad ones, you know?
C'mon this Nixxxon kid is just trolling. He's driven a couple of hot hatches for a few miles, gone into a sulk because the AI kicked his butt and then instead of moving on to giving a different game a 5 minute chance to captivate his limited attention span he's decided to come onto a forum section full of people who generally love the game and tell them that it's terrible.Seriously,he's spent more time moaning about the game here than he probably spent playing it.I can understand when people come onto a Driveclub forum and say ' I'm struggling with the handling, any pointers' or ' this game is hard, can't seem to beat an event' ,but this guys 'hi,your game sucks' post is kinda like taking a **** in someones garden.
I've been playing car/racing games for like 25 years, since Out Run, I know what I'm talking about, if you dislike my opinion just ignore it (you dont moan)

@NixxxoN Drive Clubs threads are nice and chilled - we understand you don't like the game (your opinion after a day or so)- everyone on here really does and plays the game regular..you are only going to wind people up If you keep arguing with everyone who disagrees with you..This is why they come here to get away from GT/Pcars constant arguing:yuck: 👍

I just came here to post my opinion about the game and then several people started quoting me like crazy, what can I do?
In GT6 forum many people come and bash the game btw.

You could just as easily as you posted here... Not post here (and in the other threads), especially after the negative reaction your opinion received from many members yet you didn't, instead you done what you criticised @TokoTurismo and so many other members for doing, being dishing out criticisms of GT6 left, right and centre, and have just kept going for the sake of a reaction. The difference? The game, and that's all.

For a racing game that is first of its own brand released in the midst of all kinds of different driving games, I'd say its not too shabby.

In fact, after seeing how well the game picked up after its problematic start, its nothing short of amazing. I cannot stress this enough.

DC needs to work out all the promised updates first before deciding to release a complete edition disc. However, with the current ridiculously cheap price of 20 dollars for a full game with DLC, I doubt they would do so.

With the price drop on psn, do you guys think there will be a complete édition on disc? Any news or rumors on this?

I believe there is a difference between constructive criticism and bashing. Do we need to figure out what you were doing? Would you mind me asking, what version of the game are you currently on? I'm positive that the complaints you put forward have all been addressed by the developers, who have actually worked their fingers to the bone trying to rectify the mistakes at launch, having a degree of socialism with the community which is a rarity these days.

That is there; this is here. Like @torque99 says, this is a relaxed forum full of calm folks, mostly refugees from the bile you can encounter over there. Just because people behave how they see fit on the GT6 forum (though carefully within the AUP, of course) does not make it right elsewhere.

@Zonda5 I second @Miths recommendation of the little sound system. I have the Logitech X530 5.1 speaker system connected via RCA-Headphone jack-TV, adjusted the EQ on my TV and voila! Banging sound system and DC sounds beautiful on it.

I think you can get the Logitech Z506 for a good price and have great sound to boot.

I like the chilledness of the Driveclub side of GTP mostly because we acknowledged the problems that DC had, accepted them, moved on to actually enjoying the game, the game got better and we enjoyed it even more. I find this side to be more mature than the GT/Pcars section. So @NixxxoN please, we'd like our chilledness back.

I ask this because I don't have an internet speed that is fast. If the disc arrives with all the patches and DLC, that would help me out a lot. I can't see myself downloading a 30GB game and then on top of that 10GB of patches. It will take me about 3 weeks ;)
