I ask this because I don't have an internet speed that is fast. If the disc arrives with all the patches and DLC, that would help me out a lot. I can't see myself downloading a 30GB game and then on top of that 10GB of patches. It will take me about 3 weeks ;)

^ This.

Just on a little off topic sidenote, This is why all games will never be fully digital downloads, there has to be some form of physical copies because I can't see myself doing the same thing. 40GB is A LOT of data for me, and that's half my internet bandwith gone along with 1 month of waiting for the download to finish

You could always download overnight, or start it at a time when you know local internet traffic will be quiet. For me that's between 06:00 and 08:00 (before businesses start sending e-mails and the like.)

Otherwise, send them a tweet about a GOTYE disc and with luck you'll get an answer.

I doubt that it would come anytime soon though. It would most likely not sit well with players that just bought the game and the season pass, and were willing to download the entire backlog of patches, because now they would think that all they had to do was wait a few more months and they would have got everything at a discounted price. Still, they would generally count as the minority, and I definitely see it in the pipeline.

I have seen their offer for the game + seasonpass for €19,99 within Playstation+

I don't have Playstation+ but I could take the free offer for 2 weeks and download the offer for DC (which takes probably 5 days...lol...). If after 2 weeks my Playstation+ is discontinued will I still be able to play DC which I bought through Playstation+ ?

If you have upgraded to the PS+ full game version (digital version for PS+ members) then yes, you can keep the game after the PS+ subscription expires - they made a thing about it back before launch.

Isn't the full PSN version with season pass from PSN cheaper than that now anyway?

Sorry! Yes, it was the offer I was talking about but I need PS+ to make use of that offer. I understood correctly that can buy it without any loss if PS+ isn't active anymore.

Yup, that's what they said last year sometime after announcing what the PS+ version would actually include.

Maybe this happened sooner as I wasn't really doing much DC yesterday, but today I noticed that the Sprint Events have two new sections apiece for Chile and India (old ones are still there too.)

Thanks for the info, haven't noticed. Should be new since they are only few players in the leaderboards. Don't know if Evo added them with the latest patch or some hotfix/ingame update (if possible, don't think so).

New drift locations in tracks would be so nice...

Yep, I saw after posting that only two places on the world leaderboard had been filled. I was briefly first on a couple of the events.

I'd also say they came with the last patch but activated them only today.

Starting from today we're going to bring you new Sprint mode tracks for free every week until Christmas! Nilgiri Hills in India and Taapaca in Chile are here first, go play them now!

We're also working on a big ‪#‎DRIVECLUB‬ update for next month and Custom lobbies for Multiplayer to launch around the same time, so keep sharing your feedback about the game with us here.

Whatever it is I hope it adds a lot more stuff to do! I don't just means new tracks/cars, I mean more events or elite challenges (possible 2+ per level this time?). The Ferrari and Renault are great but I want some events to use them in that aren't just time trials and single races. It's just not as motivating!

Besides new cars I would like to see some addition aftermarket wheels and maybe a few bodykits.

High on my wishlist are some more hot hatches. Also if they could add for example 5 iconic cars per era. A 50ties pack, a 60ties pack etc together with fitting filters, environments and clothes.

Probably all to much to ask ;) Anyway, looking forward to the update

They've mentioned that the elite levels will continue. LaFerrari featured in online and SP double XP last week, so maybe the other cars will follow suite. It's a shame that the PS4 update isn't ready yet, as that would flag up such double XP events.

How does one access rhe elite challenges?
Like @jp_footy says, go to your profile page and the current elite level (anything after 60 I think) info will be visible there, to the left. Alternatively, after every event you do, it will remind you of what and where using which car.

Customizations are unlikely to happen as this game's core is at beautiful, stock cars waiting to be trashed. Livery was one thing they added, and I think the reason they did is to differentiate the clubs with their own identity.

I agree with the old icons. Would be nice to drive an old Escort, Renault 5, or the Lancia Delta Integrale. Hell, I wouldn't mind if the next cycle of DLC would focus only on old cars. Be it American muscle cars like the Chevelle and Nova, Japanese beauties such as the 2000GT and the R32 GT-R, German monsters like the old 190E Evo and M3 Evo, and of course, British classics such as Lotus Esprit and Jaguar E-Type.

The elite challenges could be better put together in some sort of option within the game I feel. When I was doing the ones so far to get to level 75 having to manually choose them and set them up seemed like a very basic, primitive way of doing it considering the options you even have in-game to make your own challenges.

Putting a 'tour' up in the your menu would make them easily found and easily accessed.
