Hopefully most with the free version will go on to buy the full version and season pass.Even considering that a number of people will have two accounts associated with this game - I saw this morning that a friend on my list with just 260XP is number 4.7+ million. That shot up a lot since the PS+ version came out.
No cars this month. They have a big update planned for next month and are being mysterious about it...So... Any word from Evo about their plans for this month? Their FB page only documents the two new sprint tracks, but no word on a free car.
Yeah, I remember that vid - true how the HUD and even parts of the track changed. I suppose that's always true of game development though.I didn't realise how different it looked back during 2013!
Hopefully not too much of a culture shock for your eyes To be honest though, you'll be too busy battling those AI cars and having fun hopefully.I think i'm going to get a PS4 so I can play this and the new NFS in November. I was going to get an xbox for Forza but my wheel won't work with it and tbh it looks fairly average compared to the PC sims I have. So Driveclub looks like pure fun and the graphical porn is something I need to see My eyes will be shocked when I go from playing at 100-144fps but whatever NFS is 30fps as well so I will get used to it.

Right now Driveclub full game is $14.99 on psnI think i'm going to get a PS4 so I can play this and the new NFS in November. Great decision. After getting fairly fed up with Project Cars a few weeks ago due to its numerous bugs and glitches, I started thinking about buying an XBone and F6 and ditching PCars and the PS4 (which I love by the way). So glad I didn't though because this game came up on my radar and after a lot of research about it, I purchased DC along with the season pass about two weeks ago.I think i'm going to get a PS4 so I can play this and the new NFS in November. Since then I haven't looked back, it's the only game I have played since.
It's absolutely brilliant. Keep in mind that DC is a SIMcade title (note my emphasis on the sim part of the description).
This is no Ridge Racer or NFS, there is a depth and nuance to the physics and handling which has pleased me no end and is exactly what I was after. It falls in that happy space between simulation and arcade leaning towards the former imo.
Amazing value for such a good game.Right now Driveclub full game is $14.99 on psn
I switched GTA 5 to 30fps from 60 the other day and the first few minutes are pretty brutal but then you just get used to it and don't notice anymore. It's only when you start panning the camera around that you really notice all the motion blur.
I play DC for a couple of days and I don't have the feeling I am playing a 30 FPS game. I runs very smoothly. The only regret I have it that I should have bought it sooner
I think it's an amazing turn-around from just under a year ago - and pCars does get some love from a few folks hereWow... Tough crowd for PCars in this subforum

The thing is... Compared to PC sims like rFactor, where you are often advised to edit config files outside the game and spend most of your time tweaking settings so that downloaded mod content plays acceptably, pCARS is a breeze.Aside from TW3, I've been playing DC, rocket league and PCARS. I'm a big sim racing fan but my god do the former two put PCARS to shame in terms of fun and user friendliness.

Everything is relative
At least Evolution didn't put more skyline then something different like audi's because that is what PD did to Gran Turismo.Guess PD aren't the only ones putting more than one Skyline in their games (I'm regarding the GTR as a spiritual Skyline)
I still maintain that the Skyline proliferation in GT was due to the tuner scene in Japan, with each of the models having it's own fans. Audi's wouldn't get represented in quite the same way with Driveclub as most other motorists hate Audis in the UK - that'd be because the majority of Audi drivers are asses though and not because of the carsAt least Evolution didn't put more skyline then something different like audi's because that is what PD did to Gran Turismo.
