Yes ! Notes are quite massives so here is a summary :

- Private Lobbies
- Pack "EBR" (= 2 new bikes - not available in store yet)
- Pack "Champions" (not available yet)
- Challenge "All Stars" (27 stars to complete) in car Solo mode
- Levels 76 to 80 unlocked
- Club Levels 50 to 55 unlocked
- + many other things

Brake assist is now available in "Parameters". I check mine and it was already disabled. I still would advice you to check if it's ON or OFF for those who wouldn't want it ;).

Nope... I think this was more like a rumor. I just did one race since the update but didn't notice anything on graphic or visual effects.

Maybe they made some minor fixes in the "bug correction" specifications but I wouldn't even bet on that. That update is quite light too to contain textures.

If graphical improvements were code-based changes (such as improved anti-aliasing), they would be tiny.

Graphical upgrades needn't be large, media files.

Driveclub just posted on Facebook :

  • You can turn brake assist on or off. If you're already playing the game it will be off by default.
  • The All-Star Tour will be available to download on November 17th. It's a free add-on.

One thing I would like added is the ability to turn driver aids off. They seem to be on by default with no way to turn them off which is kind off annoying

I do agree with you but the problem may be more complexe. There are 2 possibilites :
  1. There are kind of hidden assists that make the cars act like they do (e.g. loosing speed while drifting etc.)
  2. There is no hidden assist and the cars act like they do because the game has been codded in a way that makes us think it's semi-assisted

If 1. is true, then it would be easy for them to give us the choice
If 2. is true, I'm affraid it won't be possible for them unless fully recodded the game to create 100% new physics which would be a crazy amount of work and almost impossible to aim

I don't know if this was clear ^^

They took onboard the idea of an Elite challenge option in the profile by the sounds of it.

Awesome, can't wait to get to Level 80 when I finish work.

You'll like them, not too hard, not too easy. Personally, I would have liked them to be quite a bit harder, because each event took me only one to three attempts to beat.

That's worrying, I didn't struggle with any of the other ones up until this point, like yourself only taking a maximum of 3/5 tries as necessary.

I suppose they can't be too ridiculous or nobody would get them except an elite few and a leveling system is really about progression rather than bragging rights.

The vast majority of players are unlikely to have reached the elite levels yet. I have played DriveClub several times a week (some weeks daily) since I bought my PS4 in the spring and I'm only level 51 (would probably have progressed faster if I had finished the tours and hadn't spent maybe 70% or more of my time on time trials).

Regarding the difficulty of the elite level tests I obviously don't know yet, but based on the vast gaps (many seconds per lap on most tracks) between the fastest, average and slow players on leaderboards - and the apparent ease with which some people 3 star every tour event while others are unlikely to ever get more than 1 or 2 stars on some events, no matter how many times they retry - what's easy for one person might be impossible for another.

True and it does help to be familiar with both the cars and tracks. E.g., someone not familiar with the Atom is in for a real treat. ;)

THIS ^

Has anyone find out where this option was ? I went to my profile but didn't find out anything ? Or maybe it's because I already beat the Time Trial Challenge required ?

Which level are you? It should be shown on the left. Just click it. You'll have to do it again, even if you beat it before.

Nope... I think this was more like a rumor...
Evolution themselves said that graphical update would be coming, said it several time on FB since July, so it is definitely more than a rumour ;)

You can't, it's a part of the thing they built in and is one of the things that makes it semi-sim, so that less experienced drivers can join in and have a chance.

are the private lobbies searchable? persistent? how do they work? haven't played DC for a few weeks (I re-hooked up my ps3 to play rock band, haha) and am wondering

Would be great if there was a community of clean racers one could always join when online with hopefully longer races too!
