Had a great short session with Torque earlier in the day, tho the connection was a bit wonky, servers might be acting up. (played another session just now with a friend, same thing, keep seeing lag from him despite both of us having decent connections)

Also, racing with no class restriction is quite fun. F40 vs Challenger, was an awesome battle.

I caught you up then realised I was 3 seconds behind it was your drifting ghost smoke I was seeing -It kept flickering- I thought it was my wireless to PS4 as I don't have cable to reach just yet....I just saw the smoke from your F40 ;) It was fun better than the dodgem cars online :)

Edit: @Denur @bluemoon_19 Ok will look out for you will be back on just before 4pm for a while but I am sure a few others will still be there-depends how long my dodgy broadband/wifi lasts before dropping out! I really need Fibre optic here!

@torque99 I should be able to join you for some practice races, you already have me on your friends list so you can invite me whenever you're ready 👍

I think the servers are down as my internet is working- only allows 5 though-anyone else having problems with connecting to PSN? :(

First race the game crashed after about 30 seconds lol. Anyway I cant race with cockpit view I crash into the other players as I can't see em

Server or wifi still playing up-I had a major crashes twice plus also had to take a call from work  so couldn't really concentrate with other distractions around me..will try again later chaps..enjoyed following you all while it lasted trying to catch up in the snow! Well done @Maxrevv for sorting it all while I crashed

@bluemoon I had it on open views although I still use cockpit mainly

After many tries I was able to do 2 races, unfortunately I had to sign off for work @Maxrevv. It was very funny though, for once I didn't have to worry about people trying to crash me into walls. I think I might have given a tiny bump to someone in the rush of the moment, whoever that was, I'm sorry! :guilty:
We should organise a racing night/afternoon with a bit earlier notice, so everyone can find some free time (if possible).
I was also trying to comunicate with my microphone but it wasn't working :banghead:.

It all worked quite well once we got going I think. Maybe party chat might be a better option for future gatherings as past experiences have been far more consistent using that method.

Kudos to @Maxrevv for keeping it all flowing.

EDIT: I wouldn't worry about the spin, I hit a bump and that put me out in front of you @Maxrevv - so it is I who should apologise to you for blocking your path.

If my Driveclub game is region 2, can I just purchase the 10 english pound PSN card from amazon uk and I can use it to purchase the season pass from any region 2 PS store?

Region 2 is a DVD region classification and doesn't really apply to games - they use systems like PAL and NTSC which are based on different resolution tech.

Discs though are meant to be region free, it's just the DLC needs to match the region of the disc and the account too must be the same for it to work. In other words, your disc and account would need to be UK ones for the season pass DLC to work.

EDIT: I would wait on someone else's confirmation of this though first, as I have a cold that makes even simple thoughts seem complex inside my head.

Is DRIVECLUB BIKES needed for the EBR expansion? I don't have bikes as I never buy paid DLC anyway but would like to try out the EBR bikes.

Maybe the PS share function might do the job -why don't you buy DLC, if you don't mind me asking?
I never have any money on my PSN to buy DLC and I just don't like the idea of DLC in general. I think the £50 I spend on a game should get me the entirety of the game instead of content being locked away.

I understand what you're saying there, I can create a UK account but I have a UAE one (UAE and UK are the same region if memory serves) so am I good or do I have to create a UK account?

I know that this has been the case in some situations, though I thought the model behind DC was clear and upfront before launch, stating that the game was designed to be under constant development and using player feedback in part to determine what cars would be best received.

Considering the amount of work they have put into it and also that their development model clearly isn't a money-grab, it would be a bit unfair to expect all content from launch to final closure to be free. I appreciate that you aren't asking for it all to be so; I'm just saying that really the only one you are hurting in this particular case would be yourself.

As an alternative, you can also buy PSN cards or pay via PayPal now if you don't like the idea of linking a debit card to your PSN account.

@sems4arsenal I really suggest you wait on someone else's answer as I really can't think straight right now and would hate to give you the wrong advice.

Good to know. Great shots of it tho. Can't wait for more races!

Apart from maybe a few private races with some clean drivers (you lot) I'm done with Driveclub for now. Been such a good game and is among my favourite driving games. For now you'll see me constantly tuning my Hondas on need for speed. :)

I kid. I took some time away as well but I quickly realized outside of Mario Kart no other current racers are holding my attention on the genre.

Have fun with NFS - it looks like the best one of those games yet; I hope that it is.
