Oh boy! I'm really excited. First the bikes, now the private lobbies, new cars coming in December.
Love ya Driveclub

You can also look around the interior in photo mode and the garage photo mode too.I downloaded 1.24 and I am excited about the new content at November 17th. It is good they added look left and right to the steering wheel because I look around the interior everytime I drive a new car.
They said some time ago that you will be able to progress, ie: gain levels but wouldn't have the green elite level number next to your driver level if you chose not to do those challenges.Totally agree with you, ive given up on the elite levels, Elite levels in my opinion should have been a seperate event for those that like to do that type of thing, now my XP is just mounting up, although i asked DC why would i bother with 2XP when all i do is "bank" it because Elite levels aren't my thing and they said the way elite levels work will change and banking XP will come good...quite what they mean though i have no idea.
...Awesome, can't wait to get to Level 80 when I finish work.
Level 80 attained...
! Yeah I already had 75 million XP, All I had to do were the challenges which took about 20 minutes all in.Damn... In less than half a day you went from lvl 75 to 80 ? It took me 3 hours to go from 60 to 61.
What's your secret man ? XP x4 ?
Congrats.
EDIT : I think I understand : you earned enough XP in the past but you were stuck to lvl 75 because of the game. When they released new levels, you automatically went from 75 to xx level and just had to complete ELITE Time Trial challenges. The magic disappear
Class-based racing is something this game should be able to do...don't a few of the challenges pit cars from Hyper and Super against each other? I think I remember an Enzo vs 458 race.Looked at the settings in private lobbies and the class of car thing could be set to "any". Does that mean you can race hot hatches against hypers?!
You can create groups on the PS4 within your friends list, so that should be feasible. I think the patch notes for the last big PS4 software update mention it in more detail....In private lobby we should able to filter Online Driveclub friends. I have a lot (100+) of DC friends and having difficulties to invite driveclub friend who currently online because I need to scroll while waiting their names in the loading dots finally appear.
- It would be great if we can put some AIs on private lobby racing.
In settings you can remove the player tags under HUD settings. I'll just go and check how I did it.Is there a way to remove the player's name when viewing a single player race?

EDIT: under Settings and then Display you have player tags - it's either an on or off situation. You can remove them from photo mode too, in the camera settings.
I reckon I can make that.Does anyone fancy a race later about 4pm gmt - Not too competitive just for fun really and test out a 5-10 lap race etc at Tamil Nadu 02 (easy and fun) and to test it all out properly maybe more than one? I will come on here later to see if anyone is interested:tup:

Yeah there was, if I remember there was also a race where you were driving a Bentley against a whole grid of cars that were the group above in the original tour.Class-based racing is something this game should be able to do...don't a few of the challenges pit cars from Hyper and Super against each other? We used to do something siliar on SEGA Rally on the PS3 since that game had a high skill cap, kept things very competitive for both the less-experienced and more-experienced drivers.Yeah there was, if I remember there was also a race where you were driving a Bentley against a whole grid of cars that were the group above in the original tour.
Multi class racing would be good, there's already some overlap between the classes (like the performance class RUF and Nissan GTR being faster than a few of the super cars), and it would mean that you could put fast drivers in one class and slower drivers in the faster class to keep it competitive, like a handicap.
