Well the 5 new tracks that are going to be released with DC:VR will come as a free update to the DC:VANILLA version
Not just Chile but all the rest too One track per environment.5 new tracks? Wait are those the Chilean urban tracks that Evo teased but never released??
True, I just thought he was acting like a proud father. From other reply tweets recently though, it seems that Sony have had the Evo team also working on DCVR after the closure. The tracks were all but done I gather at that time as was DCVR but Sony have hired them to complete the job (I'm reading between the lines there a bit, I know.)This news made my day The only curious thing is that Rushy would still tweet announcements about the game. Unless he's doing so under the direction of Sony.
Yeah, they remain stoically silent. Rushy is still doing far more to promote anything DC related and he doesn't work for Sony anymore (well, outside of occasional contract work that is) Still, it is his baby. The DC twitter is pretty barren at the moment too late. Annoyingly.
How I read this news about the five tracks: these will become available in the current Driveclub version as "normal" trcks. The VR version will become a "new" game we need to buy including these five tracks. Agree or disagree?
Yeah, with the higher difficulties and those cars, I tend to not even try anymore as I lack the focus for that level of racing. You don't have it set to hardcore do you - I know that adds an almost un-achievable layer of difficulty to it all (or was it that with hardcore getting the three star time is extremely difficult?) In any case, thought it worth the mention.
At a guess it's a club badge which should be replicable from the design elements you unlock as you progress. Look in your club badge section and see if you've unlocked all the elements yet - you'll probably need to do some club challenges though to unlock some of the stuff.Guys whats this sticker i always see on the AI cars?
It be nice to have that on my P1
I hate those penalties for hitting the wall, it feels so out of place in the game.Hardcore mode applies to the AI as well, that I can say with absolute confidence. However, the lighter cars, such as the Caterham 500RS, absolutely destroys the competition in hardcore mode, making races where the AI uses those near impossible.
Get rid of the penalties, make your lap time invalid when you hit a wall, and make a separate challenge system for Hardcore mode, and you have yourself a worthwhile addition to the game. Until such a thing were to happen, hardcore mode will remain pointless.
I was thinking maybe we should have a big GTP Driveclub meet soon, the new tracks will becoming soon and it would be good to get some races going since we've never really managed to have a big meet-up.
Same here. Haven't been on in a long time but this could very much interest me starting the game up again.I'm all for it. I remember I tried to do it with my lobby series, but it didn't pan out that well in the long run. Maybe you'll have more success than I had!

Really? I always though the ai drive slower in hardcore mode but I guess they really don't.
I want photos of that, sounds epic!I notice they often brake much earlier than I do. When they all bottleneck into a corner, I just drift around them on the outside of the turn.
