Can someone explain me why everybody is running with their TV on when using the VR headset? It looks extremely silly.

Aside from the social aspects (though I'll be using PSVR when I'm alone most of the time) I also find it very useful not having to turn my TV on and off all the time to do something on the PS4 whenever I take the headset off for a break, which so far is quite often.
While the headset is light and pretty comfortable and not too much cabling causing annoyances, it's still something I prefer to wear strictly when I need to.

I'm a owner of PS VR and, of course, Driveclub VR. I wish Driveclub VR would be that good-looking like in the videos, however this is not the case. The graphic in the VR headset is much worser than in the videos presented (which is recorded from the social screen), looks like 360pixel or a Wii game..

The game and the experience itself is really cool, but the immersion isn't there thanks to the crap graphic. And also due the bad graphic, like the most others, I get sick after circa 30-45 minutes. If you own a PS VR headset, please test the demo(s) first before buying it!

I'm slighty disappointed.. For the first, I recommend Rush of Blood and Tumble VR - also cheaper than Driveclub VR without owning the season pass before.

Tumble is great, have you tried the ocean descent shark attack? It's superb, also the London heist. I tried driveclub vr again and found the open cockpit of the bac mono not as nauseous as the Ferrari in the demo version. Will not be a purchase for me though. I had fun standing up in the cockpit leaning over the sides and back/ front inspecting the suspension etc, that was pretty neat.

I would get a VR for ~£150 but not at current price...

@MeanElf - It's very disappointing how silent PlayStation have been regarding the regular DriveClub update, Horizon 3's more...effortless racing and meh A.I. has left me wanting DriveClub more than ever.

The game seems dead in terms of communication. If news comes along it mostly comes from Rushy himself and he isn't even working for Sony, Evo and Driveclub anymore. Such a shame the way Sony has been running this game......
I think it only comes from @Rushy33 - Sony really could have kept a community manager on or ensured that the role got continued.

Give Forza 6 a go if you get a chance or haven't already, it has some decent races and driving and a few decent tracks and so many cars to choose from.

I can't wait for these new tracks either, DriveClub is a great game.

My copy should arrive this week, managed to pick it up for £19. :)

Is Forza 6's AI as relentless as Driveclub's?

Careful there, you are not helping with the laying to rest of a certain Scottish stereotype ;)

They are not bad, depending on level selected but they don't knock you about as much as on DriveClub, but I am used to Forza Horizon3 the last month or so where you can under take them by going through the trees or off road before the next flag/checkpoint ;) I will have to go back on Forza 6 again I think to test it out.👍

The Driveclub AI is quite good at not knocking you about, with the exception of them being bad at anticipating when you're going to brake for a turn. They'll go quite far to not hit you, without being passive to the point of just giving up their own racing line.

So a week later and no update yet  Guess the "Meme Soony" Really did hit this update :banghead:
In fairness, Sony never said it would be soon, Rushy did: well, he hoped it would be soon as he is as much in the dark as anyone.

EDIT: anyway, it's bound to arrive on Saturday morning, just when I go away for two days...

I'm really enjoying Driveclub VR. Sure, the graphics could be clearer but once I'm driving I don't really notice them. I get really immersed in the driving and the total experience. So far, I haven't experienced any sort of nausea with the game. What driving position are people using? I use cockpit and then raise the viewpoint and also push the seat back.
