The spirit of Le Mans is strong with this one....Sadly I'm the only official about and I lack the required hardware to run a stream.
Also it appears we only have 1 car for the session so might be a bit dull.
Nope currently away but I'll be Livestreaming quite a bit tomorrowPh7sher ain't around for this one no? might watch a stream at work if there was one...
I'm setting up timing ahead of time. A backup person would be nice just in case something goes wrong with the steam, as I will be unable to reset it.So who isn't starting the race that we can borrow to stream timing/the race while Peelster is unable to?
HYPERION, CLOCKWORK please join the lobby.
Doesn't help that we hadn't invited you to the club!Sorry for the delay at the start. Team miscommunication about the start time was the main cause.
Fortunately, we weren't able to see each other, so there wasn't any risk of accidental contact on track. That said, it's not ideal as we had to rely on the stewards directions for blue flag situations, which may have delayed you by a few seconds more than intended. Thanks for the efforts getting this race together; much appreciated as it has been a long time since we have participated in a race on gt6.
I hope whatever connection issues i experienced at the start of my stint didnt cause any issues with other drivers. I know there was one LMP not visible to me and hopefully me not to him. If i caused any issues with said car, i sincerely apologize.
Peace Everyone
I'll be honest here; its really only let down by the other teams that you've invited that either don't reply or don't wish to attend, and probably isn't enjoyable to the teams that tend to get flagged for a LOT of penalties during races... either way, I think most of the lack of fun is self-inflicted. If invited teams turned up and drivers/teams kept to the rules a bit more, more drivers per lobby and more cleanliness would make for closer, more enjoyable racing.AS A STATEMENT: If any team has questions or concerns about this series, please, PLEASE, leave us feedback and talk to the officials. We want all of this to be a team effort, and make this series as enjoyable as possible for everyone.
We realized we have made this series more serious than we had set it out to be, and have quickly taken away a lot of the fun from just racing each other. We set out to change it back while still having a certain level of seriousness and fun!
Happy new year to all you guys and i'm realy looking forward to race with you guys in 2017. Remember that you need both eyes and all fingers, so take Care of you selveFirst off! Happy New Year's Eve everyone! I hope everyone has been enjoying their holidays so far and had a fantastic Christmas.
So! To get this out there and in the open, our next event is going to go back a few notches in terms of seriousness, and we're going to have some fun!
The next event, which in two weeks time, is a Mazda Cup race, featuring the 1989 Mazda Roadster Cup Car (Mazda Roadster TC), at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca! The event will be split up into two parts of 2h events featuring one driver for each heat, with a short 20 minute QP session prior. All vehicles will be under stock power and weight, with no body modifications allowed.
While we did mention this event once before as an idea, due to the support it had the first time, and the fact we need to enjoy the series again, we're going in full swing with a few occasional fun events from now on.
If you or your team would like to race and enjoy some fun time on the track, remember to sign up by messaging either this post, or any of the stewards directly (or all of us at the same time, if it helps!).
