£169 for an elgato device...

If not for the £150 I had to spend in one lump for the Care Plan on my PC, I'd have attempted a stream this weekend. Newbie on the till couldn't adjust the installments to a 10-month pay plan for it so had to go all in...

Sorry guys... End of the month I should have the overtime pay I earned mid-late December come into play... I'll definitely sort something out in Feb, providing the Network Adapter I'm buying for my PC plays nice with my phone's hotspot data.

So with a slightly heavy heart I want to put out a notice to everyone: the DRR TES will only run two more events, including this Mazda race. While we had planned for other events onwards, I am reaching the point where I need to focus on the future, so I will be selling my PS3 and all of its games so I can prepare for GT Sport and upgrading my PS4 to the Pro edition.

But this is is also a good thing, because as myself and the other officials have stated among each other, we will make endurance racing happen on GT Sport, so the DRR TES will NOT be put on the shelf for an unseen amount of time, as we WILL resume once we have worked out what GT Sport has in store :)

So, with this I will make this announcement to give out the final event(s)

Mazda Roadster Cup: Laguna Seca

Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona

Yes, that's right, we will be doing our own Daytona event as the closer. We will make the date known asap, but expect it not too long after the real event at the end of the month, so a February date is imminent.

I am happy and would like to thank everyone who has raced on track, and helped with various things pertaining our events! So, onward we go to our last events on GT6 and the PS3 days!

Mazda Roadster Cup: Laguna Seca
Track: Mazda Raceway - Laguna Seca
Car: Mazda Roadster Touring Car
BHP: 205
Weight: 795 kg
PP: 464
Tires: Racing: Hard
Oil: No
Tuning: Allowed, but no horsepower increasing parts, no GT Auto parts e.g. custom wing.

Event Format: Two segments of 1.5 hours with a 20 minute qualifier immediately before segment 1. We will be using the in-game qualify/race mode, therefore the qualifying driver will be the driver that starts the race. The start will be a grid start with false start check.

In-between segments there will be a break lasting a bit over 30 minutes in which there will be a driver swap. The lap totals for both drivers over each segment will be totaled up. Gap times at the end of segment 1 will be applied to the total time post-race. The winning team will be the team that has completed the most lap over the course of both segments.

Schedule:
Room Open: 12:00 GMT
Qualifying Start: 13:00 GMT
Race Start: 13:20 GMT (immediately after qualifying)
Segment 1 End: 14:50 GMT (break for driver swap and possibly a new lobby)
Segment 2 Start: 15:30 GMT
Race End: 17:00 GMT

Track limits:
Any track limits violation in which the driver improves on their previous best lap time during QP will be a 5 second post-race penalty. Track limits maintain with two tires instead the white line, the white line is considered to extend to the inside edge of all curbs, but no further. Lifting off the throttle and giving any advantage gained will make it so that a warning/penalty is not incurred.

Supplementary Regulations:
Stint photos will not be needed. Just make sure you save the replay of your race for anything that might be under review.

In the event that the room crashes, or a significant amount of drivers get disconnected at the same time, the race will be suspended with a Red Flag and will resume from a grid start with false start check at the nearest increment of time remaining that room settings allow. In the event a Red Flag is issued, the series stewards and timekeepers will revert the race order to the last completed lap by the cars on track. If a mass disconnection occurs within the first 15 minutes of a segment, the segment may be restarted entirely. If a mass disconnection occurs within the final 5 minutes of a segment, that segment may be considered ended.

Individual disconnections will be treated as a mechanical failure. The race will not be suspended for individual disconnections. The team may resume driving in the the second segment or in the event the race is suspended, when the room is set for the race to resume.

Two drivers max. Alt team (if as a team) would have to be two drivers, if Solo, must have their own "Team Name" and commit to both sessions

Date of the Mazda event? I have looked and simply don't see it listed above; only times.

suggestion to edit one of the first posts in this thread with pertinent information so searching for info is easier for interested parties.
-thanks

I'm not entirely sure as for whether or not I'm going to be able to participate but I'll see what I can do.

Edit: What times are the events?

Race is this Saturday I believe.
Hey damon... Did I not literally post this info in full about 2 posts up from his question? I sure hope you rolled your eyes having to tell him that, lol.

Again, speechless!

Edit - ok the day was asked about 10 posts ago, and the rest about 5... guys the info is on the early posts of THIS PAGE. no wonder there is so many Race Control notes during main Events. :sly:

Wouldnt it be logical to edit the op. So every one knows where to find stuff instead of going through the pages eith the chance of overlooking stuff. Just sayin'
