I prefer it to any other music, don't get me wrong I like some acoustic, dubstep, dance, trance, but I always end up going back to drum and bass.

All of the above beautifully stored in my mobile for listening. 👍

I'm not a fan but you drum and bass lovers should look up Netsky on youtube, a young Belgian DnB producer.

Right, try listening to music made with real instruments, not some electronically edited POS. I can't stand DNB and yet I have to put up with it as I work on the radio, it's just ghastly.

/Rant

D&B sounds like level music from the power station levels in Crash Bandicoot.

To achieve a free outdoor drum and bass 'festival' you need to gather some chavs, stand next to some busy roadworks and set off a car alarm. Take some ahem, medication and dance until you pass out.

Generic Drum and Bass Song
Boom, Boom, Boom Boom...

"Bassline"

Boom Boom Tick Tick Boom Boom Buzz Buzz.

"Brap Brap"

Boom Boom.

Yeah I can totally see why that is better than say, a real song.

I love people who have to turn subjective things into objective comparisons to validate their tastes and stroke their own egos. 👎

D&B is made with instruments.

If you look at the history of D&B it originated from Jamaican music, a type of music called 'dub' and then got big in London. The original D&B tracks sound very tinny and like a drum kit type sound to them.

Peshay - Piano Tune is a prime example.

Do "You Love by Sigma" is one of my favorite songs to listen to while racing. The 140bpm tracks make you not want to drop below 140mph.... then a corner comes around

Yes, but it's trying to do a Skrillex (multiple samples at once to create a haphazard sort of sound) and failing.

Thread title is 100% opinion... and an incorrect one at that. :P

Frankly, I do not like Drum and Base very much, most tracks in the sub-genre that I do like, could probably be classified in another genre anyway. (Usually House, Trance, Dubstep, or even the main "Techno" genre.)

The above video (Peshay - Piano Tune) has an extremely similar beat to this:..

...except it lacks almost all of the other instruments. And honestly, as much as I love the RR4 soundtrack, that particular song is one of my least favorites fro the simple fact that it has too much percussion for my taste.

Most true DnB that I've heard is either just some stuff all mixed together on a computer, or some dude pounding away on a drum set. The latter of which I respect for the talent involved and neither of which I care to listen to for extended periods of time.

I'm just not a fan of (and don't understand the point of) a music track with only a beat and almost no other instruments. Shoot, even Dumbstep has dail-up modem connection sounds. ;) (Just kidding, I like dubstep... some of it.)

I listen to just about everything except country music... Ha ha ha makes me want to slit my wrists... Just kidding.... But yes i don't like country music.. lately i have been listening to DUBSTEP... I really like DATSIK,Love the bass effects.
