This is a channel that all drum and bass listeners should be subscribed to, it's that good. For example, who knew Mat Zo made DnB this good?



Edit: He apparently used to go under the alias of "MRSA" just for drum and bass.

Been into d&b since 93 parents owned a pirate radio station and drum and bass promotions .. I could fill this whole forum if I answered that question :)

damn since 93? those were the days , it changed so much , i've listened to DNB since around 2004-05 back when DNB was underground and not as commercial as today.

I have some vhs tapes somewhere of a gig they done, we take over a beach front setup a illegal rave ...and partyed untill 10am the next day. no internet in them days or twitter people arrived from all parts of the uk on mass.. nothing like an illegal rave.

Yeah have hundreds of rave flyers from that era too 93 up ... all the big name's, dunno if you know them being Portuguese but the uk scene was mental.
 
i don't know much from that era tbh , DNB is very big in eastern europe , and the Dubstep scen took over Uk in the 2000's almost

I'll just leave this here anyway. If you've never heard the master himself, Buddy Rich, doing one of his solo's, and you truly love the drums, this is pure gold. A decent recording too so if you have a system to play it through, it sounds pretty good for old video:

Been listening to MAKOTO's and A-Side's new collaboration album Aquarian Dreams. Fantastic stuff.
