@ZetaRidge7, I find it hard to believe that Brookes Brothers are underrated, when they have songs on UKF. UKF just doesn't do underrated IMHO.

Its been a while since they released a full album, which, I guess, explains some of it. Speaking of them, I love "Carry Me On".

Anyways, here's some more DnB goodness! :D

Dude!! I love his "Words and Pictures" album (the album this song is on). I remember I graduated when it released. Many plays were had.

My favorite song from it:

Bump: Lenzman's new album out next week, "Looking At The Stars".

My fourth favourite artist, Synthetic Epiphany, is talking about Drum n Bass now. I'm excited. He's released a few songs already, I believe... But Marcus (real name) is a good, very personable guy... Not dissimilar to Owsey who personally e-mailed me..

Out Here by Pendulum is a pretty good song, but I love the beginning part with the guitar. It's beautiful because it's sort of the music where you can just close your eyes and just go somewhere. I like the song, but I also don't like it because of the crazy part after the intro. :/

I'm also seeing a recurring trend with Pendulum songs uploaded on YouTube: The comments are an absolute warzone. I know I shouldn't read YouTube comments anyway, but I let my curiosity get the best of me and I decide to look.

Pendulum: the "boy band" of DnB. You either like them or hate. There is no "tolerate."

With everything which is polarizing, YouTube will start a war.

Well, I do like a lot of Pendulum's songs. I say "a lot" because I haven't heard all of their songs and from the ones I have heard, I don't enjoy all of them. I like their tame songs as well as their crazy, over the top ones, but I really don't like when they have a great opening and it all goes to hell.

Some dubstep artists do this as well:

Me: "Oh this sounds good."
*Bass drops*
Me: ...
Me: "Screw that."
*Stops listening*

Asa & Sorrow are good in that way; their music at least doesn't change genres or such midway through a song like the others.

Lorena, a track by Sorrow, is a perfect example.

On the flipside, Pendulum, especially in songs like Watercolour, jump around far too much... Good bye, easy listening mood. Hello mellow lead up to 171 BPM DnB. :odd:

Someone mentioned Pendulum so I feel obligated to post about them since I'm kinda GTP's Unofficial Pendy Curator

@CallmeDan heard this?

And you could just fuel something off of the power this one gives off (language):

So someone posted this annoying mess in the worst songs thread:

Then I remembered that Fresh used to make things like this

Maybe I just can't get with the times but what happened?

I'm not even a fan of who Fresh was ........

Still, my favorite DnB song is Spor-Overdue... I think a lot of true classics are overlooked and underrated by the masses. A few years back, a record label (maybe Monotreme Records, I've been following them for a while) released an awesome collection of DnB... It was underrated just because it didn't have pumping "club" bass.

Kinda disappointed that it is that way, but it is out of my control.

I heard a great song on the radio, "Red Guitar by Cassandra Wilson (I believe)... Awesome song. Wouldn't make a bad DnB song at 170 BPM...

Thought I'd add to the mix with one of my favorite all time DnB tracks :)
May have been posted previously cos it's not exactly new.
I'm a bit biased cos these guys are from my home town, but consider them to make some of the best DnB I've heard.
For those that dont know, I'll introduce State of Mind ....

Why is it most people on this thread don't even like dnb? why bother clicking on the thread and then telling everyone you hate it? oh well, people with no life I guess. Anyways here's a mix I did recently. There is some static and one of my Artificial Intelligence records broke but its good enough.

 who!? Who dare lie!? Who dare fib about their obsession with DnB?

Am I the only one that thinks the beginning of Show Me A Sign sounds similar to Me and You by NERO?
