Sorry guys, I'm done with this serie. Even if we were only 4 guys to race this weekend, i was decided to race but i have disconnected after 30 laps. I mean I get so annoyed always hearing people chat during the race. I learned 2 weeks ago that i must mute all people before the race and even if everyone is muted, there's always a friend coming in the loudge and start to talk during the entire race. And when they dont talk, i can hear them eat... not very exciting at all. Same story weeks after weeks...

I KNOW this will be fixed for season 2. As far as I'm concerned drivers don't talk to each other during a race, and since we can't ''talk'' to our pitcrew, it seems completely unnecessary to have voice chat.

I'm officially retiring from the NA series as of this week. Mainly because of the time slot but also because of the reason mentionned above. I'll try and make for the races on friday with the EU boys for now ('cause I'm still job hunting as we speak). As soon as I get a job, I'll have to completely drop out.

I would start concentrating on season 2 right now and see if we can fix the small bugs so we start on the right foot.

This series has GREAT potential with some awsome drivers! Let's buff out the small kinks and make this THE series to join!

On that subjet two easy solutions:idea::
1- get a mic conected to the ps3, don't put it in your ear, the chat will be directed to the reciever...:sly:
2- Race in the EU series...:D Radio silence all the way:)👍
 
Thanks for bringing that to my attention Mojo. I have not even turned my ps3 on in about 2 weeks so dont know if i will be able to log in until about 20:30 BST when i get the tv off the misses. Hope we can get logged in. I havent noticed any other threads saying they have problems though.
 
Yeah just tried now. No luck. Race postponed.
We have a space for it next Friday as the next race is the combined race on Saturday 30th.
Just gutted because i've been away for a couple of weeks and was really looking forward to it.
 
With all this free time i've got because of the psn being down i've managed to update the tables...

Still need some formation lap times to work out overall series scores.
* means points to be added for pole position (3pts).
** means points to be added for pole position and fastest lap (2x3pts).

SymP cant race for the next 2 weeks so that effectively hands Goruk77 the European Series Championship title with only 2 races to go. Well done to Goruk. Consistancy has been the key to this with 3 wins and 5 2nd places so far.

The NA series is still open with 1 result and 2 races to go (62 possible points). S4RINGS has a firm hold of the title though with a huge 53 point lead. 2nd place is all to play for though with DBR, Mojo and Jav all seperated by just 12 points.

The overall series cannot be completed without the formation lap times from the last 3 NA sreies races. If anyone can find out these times then it would be appreciated. You can work it out by watching the replay from races 6,7 and 8 for 1 lap and recording the fastest lap time at the start of lap 2.
If i dont get these times by the end of the season i will have to take the times i have been given to work out overall points.
 
Hey guys, sorry i havnt been around lately. 2 reasons. Number 1 the grand national horse race was only 5 mins away from my house and the whole of liverpool seems to go out so i couldnt make it, number 2 exams season started so i'd rather pass me exams than play gran turismo. I might try and make the last couple of races but i'll let you all know if i can.
 
Wandered where you were smudger..hope you can make it for the final 2 rounds this weekend but study must come first. All the best with that.

I'll open up a new thread for DTM2 soon. Just trying to get all the info together for it.
Also, need new date/time for NA Race 10.

That would make those last two races interesting if you can make it SymP.

Hope PSN is back before Friday. Although it has given me a chance to do some B-Spec and start puting some Cr away for DTM2 prize cars. 👍

What I meant to say is that if PSN isn't up by this weekend I see much more possibilities to join the races next week if they are going to be postponed again...

Its a shame what has happened to the PSN in the last few days.

Oh well, at least I dont have a credit card linked to my account.

So, no race today, again....
Just hope that when PSN is up again, it will come a lot faster and without the conection problems...

Yes both tonights races are cancelled. If the PSN is back up by 19:00 tomorrow then we will have the combined race 11 tomorrow and do race 10 next Friday. If not then we will just have to wait till next week.

On a more positive note, my 40" Sony HD tv is due next week so i can play the season finale in all its glory. :)
Hopefully the delivery van has better security than Sony and it doesnt get nicked by some low-life scumbag with nothing better to do...
 
Race 10 (EU & NA) cancelled again for tonight. (Still no PSN :( )

If PSN is up before 17:00 BST on Saturday then we will still have the combined Race 11 tomorrow. If not, then we will postpone for another week and put DTM2 back a week.
 
yeah... was really hoping we could race today because I won't be able to race next Friday! :irked:
