I know that. Its just that Ben and Tim seemed almost faultless. Tobys had great enthusiasm was great. The sudden change just got to me

Ben has been commentating on BTCC, GT and F1 for a long, long time though, not really a fair comparison. Given time Toby would have got better.

There are a lot lot worse out there. Toby is up there as one of the best, if only just for being able to convey genuine enthusiasm without coming off as forced or awkward.

We've been spoilt in BTCC really (or even the ToCA package as Simon Hill and Richard John Neil are pretty good too) as we've had some of the best commentators in motorsports.
Compare to F1 over the years with people like James Allen and Jonathan Legard...:yuck:

Motorbase for this season will compete under the Airwaves Racing banner.

Back to the BMW colours they had in 2009 then, just matching and more blue.

Motorbase livery is decent. 👍

Really nice liveries so far. Until Team HARD turn up that is ...

They're white because they're brand new bodykit bits that haven't been painted yet. The car is an ex-Wrathall 2011 Toyota so it needs updating with the face-lifted bodywork.
Although curiously it looks more like a brand new shell..especially as its lacking a rear wing.

Not at all, just looks at AMD's Golf.
Oh yeah forgot about the Golf. But thats an S2000 car, but the new Astra will be 3 door. (I'm guessing)

I knew that it was the 2011 Toyota of Wrathall's and they were getting upgrades for the 2013 spec, but it's odd how they have painted the shell first and not the bumpers yet - unless they have only just got the new paints basically this week?

Its not really surprising they haven't painted it yet. There's a WSR Beamer up there in all black ;) and WSR are still finishing their other 2 cars!

Its not a case of just re-painting an existing car and going racing the next year, most if not all of the teams strip the cars down during the winter. In this case though it isn't even their car originally, they may have only received delivery of it recently or had to wait about for the face-lifted parts to arrive. Who knows. But its pretty normal for most of the cars to appear un-finished at this stage.

The Hondas were also pictured with no liveries just plain white and blue.
