I'm not the best at connecting things, but I agree with Astro-Racer. I never realized this.GT5 was spectacularly announced on E3 2010 for launch at november 2nd 2010 by Sony Computer Entertainment guys.
It was also the first E3 in the history where one of the GT games was announced for release and where Kazunori was not making an appearance.
GT5 was released in 24th November 2010 after thefinal last-minute delay officially attributed to "production issues".
Connect the dots.
I think it'll be more than just a teaser if GT6 is released before E3 2013. Not a full reveal, but not a teaser either. If GT6 is on PS3. Then yes, I think there may be a chance of a mention.
But I doubt it would be anything other than a teaser.
Was GT5 not officially announced at E3 2009?GT5 was spectacularly announced on E3 2010 for launch at november 2nd 2010 by Sony Computer Entertainment guys.
Was GT5 not officially announced at E3 2009?
Expecting GT Vita to be announced, but not GT6.
Even though I don't have a Vita, I really hope a GT Vita gets released. I'm sure some time in the future I'll get one, and I really want to see what PD's capable of doing with the Vita. Developers agree that it's "infinitely" easier to port games to and make games for the Vita than the PS3. The PSP is the PS3 of handhelds in terms of difficulty for game developers.Fingers crossed, needing a decent racing game for my PS Vita. 👍
Wait it's 2039 already?
masterrawadwhat's with the pessimistic 'no?'
No evidence to be optimistic about. No news, just another 6 thread, same as usual.
I miss the moratorium on 6 threads. It's gotten out of hand.
what's with thepessimistic'no?'
This is all based off of cynicality. Everyone is predicting a very late release date based off of gt5, but that is only gt5.
To me, two years is way too short of time for another GT. I hope that's what you mean. GT3 took three years to make even though it released not even two years after GT2. GT3 also had the least features and new content of any other game with the exception of GT1, which took five years. The first two years of the development of GT1 consisted of research and studying for Kaz and his small group of 14 people. As a long time player of the series, I can assure you this is not based solely on GT5.
So why expect 6 to be different? My prediction has always been between Spring and Xmas '14, and then people are really going to be upset because I expect the PS4 to be announced/released shortly after.Pretty sure it was.
What fail? They sold more than 7 million copies? I guess that's called success. And as long people will be bying their games, they'll do whatever the heck they want.
You must avoid people that are realist like the black plague.what's with the pessimistic 'no?'
