You only have to watch the first trailer for "The Last Of Us" to see that the ps3 has some power still untapped , but then Gran Turismo is a different story, Kaz said that they couldnt get Youtube integration onto the game as the ps3 had no more memory, didnt he?

Gran Turismo 6 will not be announced. We are all in agreement on that. I reckon a 2013 reveal with a 2014 launch. If there is to be a Gran Turismo announcement it could only be a GT5 Spec III or a Vita version.

Yeah because Youtube integration is what we need most in a GT6. Never mind all of the things they could do which require no more power, ie content.
Says who? Kaz said GT6 wouldn't take as long as GT5 so one could assume it may come as early as 2013.

Assuming they stick to the plan of GT6 not being completely new there is no reason what he says wouldn't come true. The last time we saw this sort of progression was of course 3>4 and that took 3 and a half years.
So yes, I still believe GT6 will not take as long as GT5 and given that we can expect it within the next 18 months.

I dont see why everyone keeps going on about a ps4 release when the ps3 still has a couple of years in it.
And in the unlikely event the ps4 is released soon i wont be getting it i love my ps3 too much and the games i have aquired there is no way im trading my 50 games for a ps4 only to start my collection again.

I was actually very disappointed they cut YouTube integration for GT5 and it is up near the top of my wishes for GT6.
As for GT6, I hope it is announced, but I'm guessing a GT game will be announced there. I'll take GT Vita or GT6 no matter the system. It would be a glorious event if both Vita and 6 are announced and with compatibility.

Considering they are juggling memory as it is with gt5 on the ps3, i dont see gt6 coming out on the ps3, gt5 is using a lot of the power of the ps3. I should think considering GT5 has a new engine that they will build on it rather than start again so this will cut time down on production but im sure they will wait for the ps4.
I'm sure YT would be good but citing it as a main reason to put GT6 on a PS4 is a bit much. It'll come when it's ready, if that isn't until GT7 so be it.
Yawn, same old comments. They don't need a PS4 to make all cars premium, add all of the old tracks, make all tracks weather/time change, add 500 new events, reinvent A-Spec mode, add new special events, driving missions etc, revamp online modes and interactions, add leaderboards etc.

The 2nd game on a system is not a major upgrade of the game engine, it's about content. That means tracks and a competent GT-mode. These things do not need a PS4 to do.
Does anyone really want to wait five years or more for GT6 on PS4? 👎

Dont get me wrong, id like to see gt6 tomorow, all premium cars, etc. etc. etc., but i simply dont think its going to happen, and just because i think it will be released for the ps4 doesnt make me responsible for it not being on the ps3 lol !!!!

It's kind of unfortunate that they probably have to choose between another long gap between games, or another long wait after the new console launch. If GT6 is on the PS3, that will get us the game sooner, but it will likely mean another long wait after the PS4 launches. Whereas if they target PS4 for GT6, we wait longer between GT5 and GT6, but there's less of a wait for a PS4 GT game.
Although, I guess people who only buy a console for GT would like GT6 on PS3, as they could wait for a price drop or two before acquiring the PS4.

No. We are not all in agreement with that at all. GT6 will be released next year and revealed this year.
Look at the facts.
Kaz said 2-2.5 years from GT5 release until GT6. That would put GT6 release at November 2012 - May 2013. Which would be the release date of a title announced at E3.
If not fully announced with a release date, there will at least be a teaser. Inf not a E3 than for absolute certainty at GC and TGS.

Because kaz and PD are the bestest when it comes to deadlines, in the past they have only been off schedule by the small amount of a few years.
