EA is working on a Patch for the PS3

I think the same, but those are long done, and I think I've hit a wall in most of them, than there is the only 1 lap try thing which is kind of annoying.:indiff:




That wouldn't be necessary if they had leaderboards by vehicle...each one could battle for W.R. in is favourite drive...stock.Prologue style, or SCC, something GT5 is also lacking for instance.

Actually arvore, if you use the first lap to get a feel for the track and dont go too fast, you can use the second lap or even third to get your best time. I assume you are talking about hotlaps.

Yeah, the autolog would be much better if they did that.

BMW and I have a back and forth going on autolog regularly. It is fun.

So if there is no patch the Radical will always have his front wheels going bonkers (turning left and right all the time) in the replays.... I just remembered why I stopped using the radical... it was very annoing to watch the replays... I think that also happened with the caterham... PS3 version (I know that where going to fix that on the PC version... did they?)

I was just in Germantown Wi. for the races at RA. Stayed at the Holiday Inn on County Line Rd. My buddy lives in Cedarburg and I went to the races with him.

Im about 2 miles from the Holiday Inn. The Nationwide race? I am planning on Aug. 18-20 for the ALMS race - some of my favorite racing on one of my favorite tracks.

Yep, I also do the second lap thing...it would be better to have 3 laps straight.
It is what it is, either way the GT Series are the great buck makers and I needed to buy the Veyron and other expensive ones.

I know, thats probably my crown achievement! And everybody seems to hate the car (I understand) and the track (I dont understand at all, I love it!), so I think I might stay on Nr.1 in my autolog at this event at least... Until I send a friend request to TexasTyme, of course! :D
 
Talked with EA Support once again, and the interisting thing is that they given me the same suggestions from last week. I told them that the problem wasn't the CD or the console, the problem itself is the build inside the cd. It's very easy to know that, this freezes are random and some happen in the same place which means it's development problems anyway this guy is going to pass the information to EA.

I am pretty sure if we knew for sure, at least me, I would post something. All we have to go off of, is what EA states in the e-mails and live chat support.

So...as far as I can tell according to EA is there is a patch being worked on. No timeframe that we know of. There is still a 3rd DLC in the game. SMS guys have been rather quiet. I am hoping that is because they are busy with the console patch.

I think all of us are wanting a patch ASAP.
 
I just looked in the german EA Forum and someone was asking if there will be a patch.

The PC patch reports have been good. The only thing that would need to be added is the freeze for the PS3. With the way some people can re-create it, I am sure they can fix it.

Oh...and damn you an .0122 deconds. Thats is all.
 
I read that in the german forum too. But that guy who wrote that is only a moderator, not working at EA as a tech or something, right?
 
Hmm, unsurprisingly this thread is not going in the right direction, no real news here, I guess EA is only working on big sad joke for PS3 users.

I do hope there is another patch in the works, as i keep having a Love/Hate relationship with this game, one minute it blows me away, and really enjoying the game, then the next minute i hate it, due to the fact the inconsistency in the handling of the cars.
 
I don't believe there will be another patch. There is no more money to be made for EA from another pAtch.... Well not enough money for it to make it worthwhile for them.

Even if EA released a patch not many people would return or purchase shift 2 especially with FM4 around the corner.
Granted that shift 2 and fm4 are different games but there is too much hype for FM4 and too much bad press for shift2.

I really wish for a patch but it's really not looking likely. EA is not a company I will support. I really want to get the dlc's for shift2 but the thought of me rewarding EA for not supporting shift2 by buying DLC just makes me too sick to buy it.

Thats old news from a twitter post. Some people have heard otherwise from EA. Also there have been hints that SMS are working on the "last" patch for consoles.

I am not going to expect it to happen, but it would not surprise me if we get a patch soon. ISR doesnt always seem to be in the "know" about some things anyway.

I wonder if everyone that wants a patch but doesnt think they will get one has done anything to let EA know, besides complaining about them on forums. (Not directed at you personally).

Also the DLC is awesome. I wouldnt pass the opportunity to play it just to take some moral stance.
