It's all really down to how I "click" with the tracks in question due to my extensive street racing experience.
If the tracks have a good "flow" to them, I can develop a rhythm rather quickly to dial myself in with the car's dynamic abilities on those particular tracks. I tend to do less well on custom tracks that have a disturbed "flow" or have corner camber at "Overkill 9000" as they tend to break my rhythm due to the severity of flow changes.
