endurance races......

hey i have a question.... sorry if i can search it but im currently doin the superspeedway 150miles with my escudo(80th lap with piece of tape on my x button lol) and im thinkin "what if i get the clio sport? :nervous: or the corvette? :ouch: i really want the poly w/e or the f1 damnnn" so the question is... can i do the race more than once and get another car? plz answer lol thx..... :)

NTSC = USA/Japan. PAL = Rest of the World.

(not really, but that's more or less true)

Where PAL users get the Polyphony 002 from that race, you'll get an F68 formula one car. Probably the F688/S, though I can't remember.

PAL only has two F1s. NTSC has 6. The P002 in PAL is the same as the F688/S. The P001 is the same as the F094/S.

All of this information is easy to find if you search, and triple-posting is NOT going to win you any friends. Use the edit button to add comments to your previous post.

I'm in the US w/the NTSC version and I get the F090/s from that Race...(I've actually won it and I'm looking in my book right now to make sure...)

Then an F090/S you shall get... :D

I haven't turned one of my PS2s into an NTSC/UC machine yet - though I DO have a US copy of the game.

Ok - got that straightend out - I think we can lock this thread now.

I know there are prize car lists available for GT3 all over the place (for PAL and NTSC)

If you are hunting for F1 cars... keep in mind there are several, and they have slightly different characteristics. The FAQs (here or at GameFAQs) should tell you which you can get where.

Looking it up on the prize car list a few posts up is a good place to start.

The only place that I distinctly remember getting the gt1 is the Polyphony Digital Cup in the Professional League. You can also get an F1 (the good one, too), a Speed 12, and something else (escudo maybe?). Best part is, you get lots of money, it's a fun race series, and you can use the save and reload trick. If you don't know what that is, search "save and reload".

edit
It also comes from the Dream car champ and the all-stars race in the pro league

i've read that the gt1 race car is the ultimate car in gt3, but when i was doing the gt all stars (pro), on test course, the r390 lm race car defeated the gt1...so in short, wich IS the ultimate car in gt3?!?

when playing cups(for example japanese cup) if you end 1st after the last race you get gold for the cup, but do you EVENTUALY need to complete every race in gold to get 100%?

Yes, every single race must be gold for you to hit 100%. Also, all of arcade mode must be completed on hard level and the 10 arcade time trials have to be completed in 1st place. The arcade time trials are much easier than getting gold on the licence tests though.
Being able to complete the championship gold without finishing all the races is a nice way to be able to collect all 4 prizecars for particular championship. Save the game after the penultimate race. Exit immediately after starting the last race, and assuming you're more than 10 points ahead of 2nd place in the championship, you'll win the championship, and hence a prizecar. If its not the one you wanted, go back, reload and try the same thing again until you get what you want.

In my opinion, the R390 LM and 787B are both superior to the GT-One Race car.

Also, try using the edit button to avoid triple posting here, it's generally frowned upon by the moderators.

Smallhorses.

i've already completed arcade mode (single races) with the pp001 (very easy)
and about the r390 lm, i share that oppinion

so in general you need to complete everything what you can complete?
ok...i can do that...got 'bout 91% in gt mode
