F12 Berlinetta - arrived 29 Feb 2012

Yes, I used that Aston Martin as an example of how the rear foglight on the Ferrari could have been better incorporated into the design :sly:

After hearing the sound and seeing more photos, I've decided I need to see it in real life to gauge whether I really like the car and its styling or not.

Looks marvelous! It reminds me of the 599, and the headlights is like the 458's.
My only gripes is the front grille bother me a bit. Appears to be like a creepy grin :P And the way how the rear "wraps" beneath the car is pretty new, especially the F1 fog-light at the median. All in all, it's quite elegant. The specs gives it an even more stronger punch!

Gonna need a new pair of underwear.

The downshifts are so brutal.

My gosh, the engine sounds so deep & aggressive! It feels like a bullet to the knee when you hear that!

I really like it, especially the back, it looks fairly unique with those lines flowing into the middle and past the bumper.

Guess I am the only one who likes the rain light.

Also, I now hope it never graces GT5, they will rape that beautiful sound it makes.

Haha yeah they have been guilty of that a time or two! But honestly what sim hasnt.

740 hp from 6.3l, 0-100 km/h in 3.1 sec and 0-200 km/h in 8,5 sec. Sounds interesting ^^

Plus 340 km/h top speed, the fastest Ferrari ever at the Fiorano test track, 80% of 690 Nm of torque available from 2500 rpm and 30% more fuel efficient than 599 !
:dunce:

Sound like a very sexy and angry cat very powerful and it look mixed with the 599 and 458 Italia
A bit of the 458 in the front but the car looks too unbalanced for me, almost like the FF station wagon  I think the 599 GTO looks much sexier than this, as well as the 458. Crazy power in this though.

I've been pondering that since I saw the first picture. Not sure how funneling air across the hood and down the side helps reduce lift, but whatever. I suppose it helps draw air away from the wing mirrors which would help reduce drag.

The F12 looks good from the side, but all my friends agree that the back looks like ass.

The back of this car looks like a 599 which got rear ended, and no one bothered to fix it.

I actually really like this design, i feel it's a fine piece of automotive sculpture... a sure Ferrari classic (imo)

I love the front so much. I think it looks great! The back... well eh... not so much but just because its reminds me on an FF because of its size

I'm amazed, the interior sound is so similar to the 458.

I wonder if they'll be able to do a proper equal length exhaust for this thing, e.g. as a GTO or something, if there's enough space in the engine bay, then I might appreciate it better. At the moment, the unequal length exhausts just make it sound like a 350Z, but no doubt they're contributing to that fat torque curve. It's a shame they can't keep the iconic 6-2-1 manifolds; I guess peak power is easier this way.
I also wondered how they would translate the 458's intake geometry to the V12; it seems it's grown a couple of "bulbs", one on the front of each plenum, no doubt there's a butterfly in each to control plenum volume. I guess with six cylinders per plenum, "cross-talk" between them (as in the 458 and most V6s) isn't necessary at these engine speeds, especially when you see the firing order is like two inline-threes put end-to-end for each bank, so the plenum pressure is oscillating end-to-end already.
