You know the funny thing is that we just received the first shipment in the EU.

But I want to double check the quality and we still need some days to be ready. But now it is only a matter of days.

Just as expected, no pre-orders tommorow at 13.00

Knowing the Fanatec time table, a few days means a least a week.
I hope it does not much longer as when i'm on vacation, i won't be able to order.

What's with double checking the quality. Is there ANY doubt on the quality?

Excellent news! It's like Christmas in the summer =) I for one am anxious to place my order for everything as soon as you're ready. I'm glad everything is being double checked and checked again for good measure. :dopey: I just hope there is enough stock to fill the pre-orders :D
 
My rig will surely enjoy the new hardware :D

Won't that be GMT+2? Assuming GMT is the same as UTC as we (I'm not sure if it's just Europeans or other nationalities) are 1 hour ahead due to summer time.

Please forgive me if I'm wrong though, all the time zones can get confusing.

1300 in Germany is indeed GMT +2.

Any doubt just google "time Germany" tomorrow...
 
Yeah, I forgot to add summertime as I reckoned everyone was on summertime. So saying +2 would confusing.

So if I am not in the GMT+2 zone then Mayaman is in the GMT-5 zone?


Why the heck can't we just all live according to one standard time around the globe without changes, I wonder. Summertime is useless anyway, it just messes up the biological clock of everyone.
 
Thanks, had no idea. All I know is that in 8 hours when I'm tryin to sleep, Shanghai or Bombay is going to call me waking me up AGAIN.
 
Almost done here with the review and still it does not really have all the info I feel might be wanted. Or at least I keep thinking that I forgot something or am not complete enough in some areas. And this is when I am at page 42. Which is where I should stop according to the hitchhikers guide nuts of course. lol

Ugh, after this still rests optimizing. Cutting out the images from the document. Uploading the whole crap. Then translating my layout as best as I can to this forum's post editor.

Ugh... I feel like posting it tonight when I am done already and be done with it to be honest. lol

Hey Logi, just think back to how long you waited for this and now that you have had the wheel and experienced it I can only hope it was a worthwhile and enjoyable experience, yet no doubt frustrating as well at times.

I'm delighted to read that Thomas is taking extra care regards products being shipped out.
Will also be interesting to see/learn what the final product will offer.

I know... I know. The wait was long, then the stuff came. I had the Base and the two rims for 3 months, the CSPv2 for about a month. It was a hell of a time. Sometimes frustrating indeed when games you love to play most don't feel right anymore with the driver or firmware. Now I find frustration again because of the last minute driver changes in these past weeks after the software devs returned from their deserved holidays. So I kept it very general about FFB and not game specific, but I will be going into more detail per game as time passes by most likely. I just don't feel the review is as complete as it could be, or maybe I am too picky. ;)

All the testers have the okay from Fanatec to post unboxing videos! The rest is still under embargo until tomorrow 13:00 CEST (summer time).

So far the un-boxing videos are quite sweet :) Such a tease though. LOL The videos so far should give everyone who's never owned a Fanatec wheel a good sense of the build quality.

OK Logi, just need some reading material for tomorrow's office work day. Can you tell I will be getting nothing done tomorrow? LOL

I can tell... for some reason I feel good today. Do you do too?
So yeah this song popped to mind just now at random while setting up my domain to handle the server load. Still dunno how to upload the images. Any idea for a good gallery I can install onto the server? Oh well, might as well resize it by hand I guess.
