So the CSR Elite might cost, about the same? I bet the Quick Release is about the same as a license for Xbox.

Not that impressed....

Okay it looks amazing and with all the options a great deal of cleverness has went into this. Superb job no, scrub that blooming marvelous take a bow Mr Jackermeier for what deserves a standing ovation.

And such a good price too. $450 for wheel mounted sensors, 2 FFB motors, smoother belts, lots of metal, and alcantara.

We don't have to pay tax when we order online right? I recall when I originally ordered a GT2 only extra fee I had to pay was shipping +$20

Um, you know you can't do anything with it right?
I mean you do need a wheel to use on it at another 150.

Just saying.

I mean I wouldn't buy one shoe right?

I thought the $450 base price included 1 rim? Of course that would still leave the brakes. Would be a tragedy to use standard pedals with such a nice looking machine

Well I'm hoping you are right.
I might have the wrong end of the stick but the video inplied that to me.

I might have to retract my statement but Thomas does say 450 base 150 wheel.
He doesn't mention the two together.

Same here.

I thought that included the wheel rim too? Must have misunderstood.

Plus tax in the US...and you do pay tax when you order online (it is included in the price tag)
And if you think about it it - would be fair for an european wheel base to cost 450 euros in europe (about 640 dolars) and less than 315 euros (450 dollars) in the US???? and thats just for the wheel base if I saw the video correctly.

If it doesn't include a rim he needs to show off the GT style rim pronto.

Given the choice between the two rims, I'm sure the majority would be looking at a regular wheel you can reasonably use for 900 degrees.

Hope I really have got it wrong.
I want to stress that's how the video came across to me. I dont want to start false rumours.

Anyone else watch the video and see it any different?

Better still ... Thomas.

It's as clear as night and day. You buy the base then buy a rim.
Rims will feature from 150 - 300 as they become available.

Doing the math that means prices will be 600 - 750

What is the name of the top end Xbox/PS3/PC model called.

I get confused. Has there been a price tag/release window yet?

Thanks.

Tax included for Euro/UK as he said.

$600 is €418
$600 is £327

€600 is $860
€600 is £521

£521 is €539
$860 is £468

You can pay your USA tax guys :)

Yes but I though you where talking about dollars sence you didnt name the currency... and it was a follow up to this post

so even the cheapest offer is 600 euros (860 dollars) for just the wheel with no pedals... it might be just me but that doesnt sound like a very good price...

I really hope that wheel is included. If not, this is going to get too expensive for me. $450+150+VAT+CSP$200... bleh. Not that it would not be worth it, it is just a lot of money.

i think the price should have been something like 500 euro with the rim included. there should be a special bundle offer if you buy the csp pedals as well

Just watched the video again, and it is definitely $450+$150. Then $200 for CSP. If the $450 needs to be converted to USD from Euro then we are in 4 figures. I could take $450+$200. But more than that is just not doable.

If those prices are true I'm probably going to just get a GT2 and Clubsport pedals instead. Was really hoping that it wouldn't be super expensive.

No, USA buyers are charged $600 then taxes not €600.
This still however is a better deal than UK or indeed European buyers get when you convert things as highlighted above. Were used to it by now...

This is highend components lads, man toys.

Ok. Still steep. $800 for a full set up + taxes. Guess I will have to write it off as a business expense.

I think when compared to other specialist wheels it will give a new benchmark for price/performance. Their are of course much more expensive wheels out their.
