Just make sure you really certain you are going to buy it if you ask for the code, do NOT feel like handing out my code to someone who is not gonna use it right away. I could potentially regret it later and would feel better if I know for certain my code went to someone who really needed/wanted it.

However it´s not working for me (or for feric?), is ownership of previous V1 necessary for it to work?
Think he created account today but not bought from Fanatec earlier, or could be wrong about that have to ask?

Fanatec's T's and C's on the transfer of code:
You can transfer the code to a friend as long as he is a registered member at this webshop and in the same region as you. For example it is not possible to transfer a Japanese code to a member of the US webshop.
Please use the same e-mail address of the recipient which was used during registration. The code will automatically appear in his user profile and he will be notified by e-mail.
I had been negotiating for a few weeks with the sales department and was waiting for a bonus from work... I had no idea about the v2 until the morning it was announced... went to pre-order and found it had been removed from the shop. Called them and they said as I had missed the pre-order window by a few hours, they would not let me pre-order without an invitation, but they had some held back stock on the shelf for replacements that they needed to shift.. and offered me a v1. I accepted as it got me a base and 3 rims + CSPv2 (and CSS SQ on backorder, due 30/9) there and then, it all arrived the following Monday.How did you order and receive a V1 on the day the V2 launched? I was under the impression that the V1 was discontinued and everyone who ordered a V1 got upgraded to a V2.
@eKretz Mate do you know anybody in Australia with a code they don't intend on using? I assume now that they are pretty much finished with the first wave of preorders that us lowly "Other Clubsport Product" owners are next but it would be good to get the order underway now.Sorry to hear that nubrocket, in that case I´m not sure there is much you can do about it for now, if it´s indeed a problem on Fanatec site that is? Think you have to contact Fanatec directly and get it sorted out, kinda sucks but what else to do my friend?
If you should decide that you wannt buy the V2 wheel asap then perhaps you could ask for someone else code and later on transfer your´s back to him when Fanatec sort out the problems?
Besides you also get a extra code after V2 purchase as well from what I understand.
Just a thought though I did read that you not sure if you want to purchase right away or not, I get that it must be frustrating when you expect the code to be there and they already sent the mail about it.
Not very helpful I know + it´s weekend now so I suppose you need to wait until Monday to contact then right?
