My fastest non-F1 400M was 9.231 with the RUF CTR2 at full-tune and in normal garage setting (not tuned for dragstrip). That car just squats and does it's business like my dog! Actually my Escudo pulled 9.128 and F090/s got 9.124, but I'm sure those don't count.

Not here to compete, just to let you see what the limits are. I have a hybrid Subaru Impreza 22B with 4600bhp. Tuned for acceleration, the fastest it will do on stock (non hacked) T8's is 8.4 seconds. That was with manual, and maybe auto would shave a bit more off, but basically, this shows power isn't the issue for super low times, it's grip. With 4600 bhp, all four wheels spin on every upshift, even into sixth.

Oh, and the terminal velocity was a little over 260mph.

there isn't really any ''special'' setup for it.

Supe it up to the max, and add the racing tyres which cost 45,000 credits.(as sum1 said before all the weight goes onto the rear wheels)
stick at the 400m for a while.at first you will probably be gettin 8secs, but keep trying.

oh yeah, keep going against your ghost and try to beat it every time.

my RUF RGT ran 8.89 on the 400... after a little gamesharking, doubled HP and some tweaking got me down to 7.1. nothing else has compared--not even my F1s (F094/H with doubled HP ran 8.1).

anything more than hp x 2.04 or whatever makes tirespin too much of a problem to me.

iv gotten a 8.8 in the rgt and a 8.3 in an indy car, the trick is to shorten the gears so that you dont hit the rev limiter in 6th gear, then when you start out put it in 2nd before you start, and it will pull hard
