Apologies to everyone for not making the race. Had connection issues once again, i tried for more than an hour but no luck. Hopefully will have more luck next week

Yeah noticed fella:tdown: take it your trying the obvious "clear cache" "reset router"?? If so and this isnt helping try port forwarding its helped my connection a little:) Just pump "portforwarding GT5" into your search engine and follow the instructions dosent take to long.👍

That is why JB is hosting it next week, and if more people show I will keep the season going. :)
 
Also, forgot to mention yesterday, but my overtake was pretty epic, outside of turn 2, side by side through the chicanes and slipped by the inside of turn 7 for the lead.:D

I did feel really sorry for you are you were trying to join for ages. I think it was just your connection I think it was partly ours, there for we are going to get john to host as he can host 16 man races :)

The GT5 servers are pretty awful tbh my lounge has its moments sure isnt bullet proof.:crazy:
 
I would volunteer but I can't guarantee much practice time before the race, but my connection is usually good.👍

Suits me Ak means you will have to race and withdraw your quit remark:tup: Just a thought why not give Akmuq 13 points (1st when dc'd 20 laps) and give Esprit 9 points (1st/2nd when dc more than 20laps)

Lotus seven 25pts completed race
Johnboy 18pts completed race
etc
etc
etc.

Just an idea.💡

Along with clearing the cache and all that, maybe make sure you have nothing else robbing your bandwidth. Like the your PC/MAC, ipod, etc. anything grabbing info.

Also for anyone who fall behind in a race. You are still a big part of the overall race and you do effect all the other racer. By you dropping out you make it easier for anyone to come up from the back of the field.

Example : yesterday there was a 2pit strategy and also a 1 pit. The back of the field could have helped or hurt either of those. You are a part of the race and overall strategy. Even by falling behind. Its the factor of it. Say the leader goes to lap you and you slow him just enough to help 2nd place. It might not be on purpose but all in the race are factors.

Exactly I lost about 2 seconds behind the one-stoppers, but after the second stop the Team_Lotus guys would have been stuck behind you all again.

Suzuka should be more enjoyable than the Autumn ring.

Not really :( me and Akmuq got DCed, and then 2 people left half way then only 5 people finished the race :(.

Sorry I could not save the replay so I could not get any photos. :( I will get Seven to take some photos :)

I can forgive you now as you had a bad round of golf.
I know what it can feel like.
also I will be taking some pictures tomorrow after work as I only have a half day Friday so all will be good.

I think that is one of the reason it is hard for Esprit to host because we have got two GT5's running off the same connections and it is not the smallest of games.
 
Dog, seven knows the feeling of of playing bad at golf he is always shotting like +8 over handycap lol
