Me and Artmann battling past a lapped driver
 
i've been thinking about a nice & easy rule , it's maybe to late to talk about .
so , we can try it if you all ok .
the rule is simple , it is that every driver must once use the hard tires .
i think it can be really interesting , because you can qualify with the hard tires then start with and finish on softs ...
as i said before you all must be ok ...
 
The tracks are ok Guys.
after one lap nordschleife you dont have more rear tyres and spin out.
Its not nice to drive one lap and pit then.
And in Laguna Seca all Quit because we know it from the Pre Season.

We have had the rule already aug only problems with screen not correct.
And the hard tyres are almost same fast like soft tyres.

I already asked immortal if we could have nurb 24hr for season finale ... the answer was no. shame cos i love nurb too!

I love the ring aswell but I agree that tire ware would kill the experience.

That must only apply to Immortal's cuz there around 2 seconds off for me and have more ware than mediums.
 
Maybe the hards have changed recently i havnt driven on them since season 2 or early 3rd .
Since they hard less grip they slid around alot more and wore off almost quicker than mediums and the same as softs.
I love the mediums!

yes, the replays are innacurate when looking at tyres!

Immortal uses T cam like you and Gaz IIRC, I think artmann does too.

It's all about that in car view though, can't see the line as well but man it's a much more immersive realistic experience from the cockpit and once you get used to it there's no going back! I think in car view makes racing in traffic a bit easier even though you can't see the lines as well as T cam.

BTW, if you guys haven't already done it check out Oshawa Joe's shared garage... I made 50 million credits (only could keep 20mil) in 5 minutes last week. So ridiculous(ly fun).

I do like the cockpit view but like you say its tough to see the line! maybe if there was an option to restrict everyone in the room to that view , that would be cool.... maybe dangerous lol!!

The race hards in GT5 give the most realistic grip levels so says the GT Academy guy who drives the GT class for Nissan.

Personally I would like tires here to be restricted to HARD or less because then I would not have to pull into the pits 4-5 times during a race on some tracks, although it is a time to stand up and stretch and in the 4 hours of Nurburgring I did a couple years back here in GT5 pitstops for fuel were long enough to have a twinkle. :sly:

With the amount of alcohol I drink during a race. I have at least 2 - 3 twinkles per race. Last time out I nearly shredded my 🤬 because I tried to zip up before it was fully caged. I heard the car exiting the pit lane.
 
Outside, 5 feet over the car FTFW I don't need to to tell you all what the extra F stands for.
 
I drive with T cam view but when in lobby options would be are the Options to banned all other Views I would like to drive with Cockpit view.

Sorry guys there was a small mistake in Teams, Teams are tomorrow ready.
 
Bumper view in GT5 for me. ( so far)

Rearviewmirror, revcounter,shiftlight are advantages.
The only disadvantage is to exactly now how wide the car is on narrow tracks.

The best solution for me would be the one that is shown on one Fanatec-BMW-Wheel-Test with ?Project Cars? ( i think ) where the cocpit view is without the steering wheel! And the wheel position is height adjustable as well. :cheers:

In Gt5 the slower turning ( always a bit delayed ) steering wheel irritates me as hell.:yuck:

p.s. I use cockpit view , it slows me down a bit but gives better track and car understanding

I use cockpit view . with as only informations the times ... throttle & brake thing also so i can see if my pedal is sticky and not only feel the wall i just bumped because of it :)

hmmm im surprised how many of you use cockpit view! i find it to hard, maybe i practice on weekend :)

nice immortal! hey i got mister safeway as tm... thats good news.... hope he can race every race!
