Does anyone else think it's worth doing a poll or something like that for the settings being used and on which wheel. Not me as I'm a little dumb when it comes to that.
OK dumb comments not needed ;)

Reading through all of these posts is getting confusing.

I'm on 3 and 10 on a G25 but that was pre ninja update.

Reading this I'm thinking a 3 and 2 would be best for good feel as I like a lighter wheel where I can pick up the slight contours of the course.

I feel more options are better for everyone because people's preferences are like a**holes we all have one and no two are identical.
But ....... Show me yours and maybe I can learn something. ;)

The hotfix improved the feel of the G25 for me. The 8/8 settiing worked well, but went for 10 T and 8 for S and has weight and feel. Lower sensitivity gave me a floating feeling around centre.

Still doesn't feel good to me, feels like my wheel is broken, might check tomorrow on PC if it is or if the new FFB implementation is that bad for G27 in GT6 now.

Hopefully T300RS and T500RS feels good as I plan to upgrade to the T300RS 'soon'.

So when they say hotfix. Do they mean you have to redownload it every time you play GT6 meaning that "offline" users cant get this.

Or do they just mean small patch so i can play this game again?

DFGT user. Todays ninja hotfix has definelty improved the wheel weight. Not back to how it was pre patch, but a definite improvement after yesterdays update.

The thing I dont get is. How did the 1.12 update (with the wheel weight issues) make it out of the factory in first place? Did no one at PD test it, or are well all beta testers for them?

They would have to acknowledge there's an issue before it's deemed so. Some like the update and some don't, so really there is no way of telling if it's an issue or not.

Since these settings are adjustable even with a DS3, has anyone messed with them and noticed a difference in input and feed back response? Didn't get any time to mess about last night after updating.

Its a patch. You only have to download it once :)

Finally got a chance to try this. The hotfix definitely improved things for me. It no longer feels like I'm playing with the wheel powered off, like it did before. I'm curious as to what other Fanatec owners think.

My wheel feels like it's powered off mostly. đź‘Ž Before the hotfix it wasn't.

LOL

sorry I just couldnt help myself but what exactly would you learn by looking at other people's A holes??

My DFGT wheel seemed like it went to zero...no feel at all. Had to go in and spend time getting the settings set to where they felt like before the "fix".

This is one of the funniest and craziest thing I ever saw in GTPlanet lol. I literally laugh out loud :D. Props to your imagination lol

Well, the hotfix put the t500 like a wall. I have change for the minimum value and the wheel stay very strong. Anyone have this problem.

Mine is much better now. I have the same one you do (and same pedals). đź‘Ť

Sorry to hear that. Not sure how much different the CSR is from the Carrera wheel. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I'm sure the Carrera isn't that great compared to the newer wheels. Lots of driver/firmware updates since the Carrera had any support from Fanatec. I did crank the FF on the wheel up to 100, but it just made the wheel feel heavier, not add in the bumps and jolts I was feeling prior to the hotfix.

G25 feels better, more responsive and seems to allow a more precise driving
BUT it still lacks a lot of force, feel too light...and i'm on 10/10

fix this and i'll post in the epic praise thread  maybe

I am happy with the fix. I've got my torque set to 8 and the sensitivity to 10. Feels much less 'Arcady' than yesterday. I'm also liking the FFB details when you run over curbing. Thanks for the fix! đź‘Ť

So glad this issue wasn't just me, really need to test again with my G27, but yesterday at 10/10 it was a joke, it still 'worked' but was worse than being powered down, with the previous setting you had to guess what your inputs did, looking forward to testing out the hot fix. Strength was always an issue with Logitechs on PS3, maybe this is an opportunity for PD to seriously not just repair the wheels to their previous state but improve and use the wheels to their full ability?

Before 1.12, I just accepted the lack of feel in the front wheels as I didnt know of anything better
After 1.12 (before hotfix) - Holy Crap, so this is what the road feels like, I love it!
After hotfix - Crap Im back to what it was before 1.12 only now I know what Ive been missing.

I think the general consensus is Thrustmaster users need to dial down the strength after the hotfix, and for Logitech users the wheel resistance is now a lot better (although still not as heavy as previously).

For Logitech users who haven't tried changing the rotation I urge you all to try it out. It doesn't mess up the steering input too much, but the resistance is a lot more similar to pre 1.12, while still keeping the liveliness and detail of the new update. It's as perfect as you can get đź‘Ť

I can still feel the road and more info from the tires as well as having a bit of weight back. đź‘Ť

Agreed, I like the extra info/effects coming through the wheel, however with the G25, even after the hot-fix feels like it has a 40 degree very light/dead-er zone when steering left or right from dead center. Just my observations so far.

Have you had any success playing with the settings to regain the pre-hotfix feel? Lowering them both or even one at a time and vise versa?

Torque 6 Sensitivity 4 worked the best for me on a G27. Able to feel most imperfections on the road, and also weight transfer/suspension load. Still, it's nowhere as heavy is I'd like it to be.
