The main place to gain time on the track is S1, and because of that a car that turns into corners better gives a faster laptime even if it is a bit twitchy, it's the first time I've recommended camber because it suits S1...

S1: 39.2 with this setup, I know that high 38s are possible near the limit...

I might try 0, 0.5 camber but I already think its slower without trying it. :lol: Then again I though Aug's setup would be the opposite of what it is. Gonna be interesting to see how bad tire wear is with 1670 rear wing, I'm thinking 7 lap stints here. 5 stop race if you dont look after the rears, 4 stop if you kind of manage them, but even when you dont light them up they go off..... frustrating.

Yep, tirewear is similar to Silverstone but more chances to ruin tyres here because of more violent traction zones... that's why I won't recommend a definite final gear because the longer the gearbox the easier it is to protect the tyres from overheating, the shorter the gearbox the faster the acceleration and the more responsive cornering at the hairpin...

On Thursday I am opening a half distance race, 20 lap event, 20:00 UK time practice, 21:00 (same time we race on Sundays) 15minutes qualifying and then race... Immortal used to run one of these pre-race events and its really helped me for race days... All welcome!
 
I will not be able to make Suzuka, as I have to work most Sunday's. At my work, there's 4 of us who work on Sunday's and one of us gets a Sunday off every week. That being said, I think I will miss Suzuka, but make the Spa race and Race 9 as long as we stay in order at work with alternating Sunday's off. Hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience.

Thanks for accepting me into the league. Can't wait to race in it!

I've been playing alot the last few months and just been a bit burned out lately. And I've been having problems with my ps3 initially reading disc on start up; two reasons I haven't done much testing... Same problem I had back in january with the same ps3 and same disc that prevented me from playing gt6 until june when I sent the ps3 in. I have to open and re-open the disc tray on an average of half an hour for it to finally read the disc properly. Anyways, I will be buying the downloadable version of GT by sunday :banghead:.
Ooh how I love and yet HATE technology:ouch:.

I use the download version now as well and it is slower lol and takes AGES to download, give yourself enough time to download, 15gb or something!
 
PS3 is getting ancient, my next cell phone might be getting close....2006 damn that was a while ago! I suppose the slim is younger, was that a 2008 release? Anyways my 2010 slim is till going good, I use the lazer cleaner on it but I do notice some stuttering every now and then could just be the discs getting used up. Man I wonder how much money I could make on my hundreds of old unused PS1, 2 discs. Anybody know if I can make anything off those?

They're not worth **** unfortunatly. I've had both consoles and when I decided to sell my xbox 360 to get a ps3 again last year, I remember getting 50 cent or 1 dollar for most of my games. So with PS1 games you're better of just saving them or lend them to a friend :)

NOTE. I did sell them at gamestop so that could explain the value but i still got 1500kr (150-200$) out of my console and all my games

Yeah I was thinking I could trade in my PS3 for a PS4 and get some off, but then again GT6 is still going strong so that kinda takes the benefit out of it. I'm thinking I still have some old PS1 consoles in the closet somewhere....damn, I bet some person will find them 50 years from now and sell them as antique's. :lol:

Lets hope that's how it sounds on TV, that person's Audio recording might be more advanced than the crappy world feed we see on TV.

Anyways I did notice the cars have gotten louder since Australia, maybe its a figment of my imagination but they do seem better than before.
 
I should be able to make it back in time, got the chopper on standby :D

By the way, I've set up three F3 15-lap No Tune Hard Tyres races for next week (Monday Silverstone International, Wednesday Laguna Seca, Friday Willow Springs) in the club, feel free to join, I know it's No Tune (which I personally hate!) but it should make it interesting races, and I'll introduce Tuned ones the week after!
